Good short story. The universe that is being created in this and Terms of Enlistment is interesting to say the least. The characters are do need more to make the reader care about them but it is still an interesting read.

Great short story. Really enjoyed it - twice.
Written so you feel like your having a chat with the pilot in the mess a few years down the track. Wish I could have been part of lucky 13s crew. They are the stuff legends are made of.
Great job Mr Kloos

However, while the story was fun to read, it was nothing special I'd call it fun for lovers of military sci-fi, but that's about it. It's too short to really have much bite.
