Hard For My Boss

The main story was very good, very well written, I think, but the two short stories after leave a sort of blah aftertaste that the main story really doesn't deserve. Also, it makes me a little leery of reading more by the same author, but I'm hopeful some of his other full stories are worth the time since the main story here certainly was.

There are several really funny scenes in this book, but my favorite is when Ben gives Trevor the name "Cyber God Slayer 99". O M G! I laughed so hard ?. This is such a good romance with humor thrown in here and there. I thought this might be one of those cheesy sleezy stories but it's so not like that at all. Kudos to the author for a really nice HEA.

I'm only reviewing the main story, not the novellas. I wasn't the biggest fan of Trevor and Ben as a couple for several chapters but they grew on me. When their relationship came out, I wanted Elijah to really make Trevor feel like crap for lying so long. My main issue with story was the length. There wasn't enough angst to justify the length of this story.

You know that anything by Daryl Banner is going to be good, but this book far exceeds that. I loved both characters, especially Trevor who is very relatable with all of his mishaps. I had been in such a book slump and I am so glad I chose this to read next as I could not put it down!
Seriously, it is hot, and there are so many laugh out loud moments. Read this next! READ IT!!

Hard For My Boss was a sweet, sometimes hilarious book about being able to be yourself around that special someone, overcoming all obstacles when needed and never taking yourself too seriously.
There were even times where I had to put the book down because it was just too funny to keep reading! (I'll just say blinds and birds) I had a great time reading it and didn't want to put it down, even when I had to!

This book was fantastic!! It has it all! Not only a sexy, hit romance between gorgeous men but playful banter, hilarious inner monologues, embarrassing gaffes that will have you laughing out loud, hotter that hot sex scenes that all culminate in an absolutely beautiful HEA!! I just loved it!

Great story about finding someone when you least expected to. Ben and Trevor qwere so different but they worked so well together, they brought out the best in each other. They saw some much more in each other than anyone ever had. Great office romance book!!

Along with the fun is a wide range of emotions. Touching, friendship, nervousness, sexy heat, uncertainty and building love.
I really did laugh out loud but I also connected with the characters. I was mad for them and excited and I wish I could just hug them.
I liked the pace because I enjoy the relationship growing over time, more of a show don't tell. This does cause the flow to move slower than some books. It worked for me. It did not feel like a lag but you do get a lot of time together between the main characters.
This is a must read if you like smart fun stories with a lot sexy times.

Excellent story that keeps you reading to get to the satisfying HEA. Erotica that is carried by an excellent story. Would recommend this read to anyone. Excellent bonus books as well. Can't go wrong with this book.

Sizzling HOT!!! I've volunteered to review this book for the author. Daryl did it again with another Sizzling Hot story. I love reading Daryl Banner books. He is one of my favorite MM authors. This is his new standalone story. This book has it all hot chemistry, laugh out loud banter, and awesome characters. I was hooked into the book from the beginning. Trevor and Gage stole my heart! Ben is talented, smart, hot, and sexy. Trevor just got his dream internship for the summer! You will fall in love with Trevor and Ben. This book has everything and I had a blast reading it. This book had parts that had me laughing out loud and if adulting hadn't gotten in the way I would have never put it down. It was awesome to watch Trevor come out of his shell and become a risk taker who finally learns to have fun. I enjoyed seeing Ben learn that he ca have real relationships with people outside of his dog. Trevor was easily my favorite person he has a kind soul and a very loyal person. Trufully though Ben's dog lance stole the show throughout the story. If your looking for laughs mixed with a bunch of sarcasm and a whole lot of cuteness this book is for you.

Again, the author uses sentence fragments for emphasis, especially when the characters speak or "think". He also changes the "voice" from one character to another from chapter to chapter. If this format doesn't bother you, then this is a nice easy read!

Trevor and Ben stole my heart! Who would have thought the hottie at the bar would turn out to be his boss! This book was amazing. While I was not really a reader of boss/employee books (I am now!) I had to give this one a try because it is Daryl Banner! And of course, I loved it. The characters were very relatable and fun to read. I read straight through without stopping! Read this amazing book today! 5++++++ stars!

This likable duo meets up within the first few pages, and the story follows a pleasant workplace romance trope. An interesting group of other characters (best friends, hacker, coworker, dog) enliven the scene. It was a good read, particularly with the humor of Trevor, our young intern starting out his exciting career-making internship on Monday.
These are two pretty nice guys, caught up in their mutual attraction, not necessarily thinking things through regarding consequences. The story includes a number of familiar tropes for billionaire romance, but isn't angsty or whiny. One big obstacle arises, and Trevor (the most overwhelmed by it) is actually sort of hilarious in his misery. HEA earned.
Smooth dialogue, professional writing, well edited. I tend to like more layers to my story (mystery, complex work environment, and or multiple characters in depth). This has more than the seeds of interesting PR job, but doesn't work it quite enough, and just a few fun side characters. As a romance, it does well...but the lack of layers kept me to a three star rating.

These are two likable guys caught somewhat against their will in a classic romantic scenario.

These two characters are strong minded...Trevor starts off with more introverted attitude that isolates him, and one big gigantic embarrassing mess of an incident occurs, but usual relationship fears, miscommunication, traumatic history or events not part of the story.

Ben is talented, cunning business savy, and sexy. I voluntairily reviewed this as an arc, but in support of this great author, and man I also purchased it. I definitely recommend this to be read by all, as I couldn't put it down!

I think Daryl Banner gets my brand of humor. This book is sweet, cute, and hot AF.

Benjamin Gage knows how to turn up the heat. He is hot, sexy, and all alpha. And he has his eye on the new intern, Trevor.

Trevor is sweet, shy, and determined to make an impression.

He just didn't plan on Benjamin Gage. He planned for everything EXCEPT the boss.

Told in alternating POVs, Hard for my Boss is one of those delightful reads that'll leave you laughing and panting for more. You're gonna love the characters and the relationship between them.

And let's give a round of applause for the coolest BFF in history....Elijah! Yes, I want his book. Can we get that next? He's freaking awesome!

A fun, care free story which was slightly predictable, but the humor made up for some of that.

The two main characters were quite well developed, just a tad too on point. I'm quite certain Ben wouldn't act the way he did, so it didn't ring true for me.

Overall, the story moved along quickly and was a fun read!
