Engaging story. I simply love it. As much as these little bits of herself that the author shares with us, readers, instead of the usual "About the author" paragraphs. I enjoyed reading it now, and I will read this book again in future, for sure. You always deliver...so, Thanks a lot Eliza!.

Really nice story at work here. Maybe not fully my thing because I'm a Midwesterner, not from the South, but the idea of the ghosts in this story was great. Maybe more of South Carolina could come through in the story since I think some of it is just assumed and not shown, but the way the spirits just took up residence with the living? Really well done. Surprising, strange and different in a really good way.

"This book is best classified as 'romantic suspense.'"

Actually, it shouldn't be classified or marketed as a romance, which is what's stated in the subtitle, and implied by the term romantic suspense. I thought the prose was gorgeous and I loved the character of Ardie, also felt for Lucinda at first, but this is NOT a romance. When you break the genre convention of an HEA, you're no longer writing romance. It's like reading a mystery where no one ever solves the crime.

I'm really aggravated that I spent so long reading it only to have my expectations jacked with like this. If I'd known I was reading a paranormal lesbian story, without being cued to expect a romance, I would have rated it fairly high.

Fun read, not the usual fare of fluff. Older characters that have lived and that I recognize as friends. Ideas that are both new and old to me. A person i like holding the pen. Thank you Eliza Andrews.

Well worth reading. I read it in one sitting.. Certainly an original story line. I wondered how the author could end it on a positive note but she did. It's a book I'll remember. Thank you Eliza Andrews
