National Geographic Readers: Weird Sea Creatures

We own quite a few of the national geographic readers and we love them all. They are appropriately laid out for young readers, my daughter loves the riddles/jokes and she loves learning interesting facts about the animals and sharing them with the family. I am very pleased with this purchase and will continue to buy others in the series.

As usual, an outstanding Nat Geo Kids book! I love that throughout their fabulous animal series a lot of animals overlap. I teach grade 2, and my students will see/read something that they've seen in another book and absolutely freak out. They'll then bring the 2 books side by side and compare the info. on the animal in each one.

I purchased this book for my son who is diagnosed with Autism and aspire to become an Ecologist in the area of Marine Biologist. This book has very large and bright pictures and colors. It is written for young people and only has a few pages. Although I son like the book, even with the text bubbles and large print, he wished that it were more information to review. I really liked the pictures and enjoyed the information included. He thought it was a nice refresher. They were like small posters for him as was the NG Kids Wild Animal Atlas. He wants me to try and find the adult versions of these books. I am still looking.

I would refer these this book to others.

This National Geographic book we bought in a local bookstore and it is amazing!! Despite the fact I am an adult I love reading children books with my kids. This one is so colorful my kids adore it!

In the book weird sea creatures it tells you about animals that live in the sea and jokes . One reason I like this book is because I like reading about animals and this book tells about interesting things that I don’t know about . For example deep in the sea it’s dark so some fish make their own light.Another reason I like this book is because it has funny jokes in it so I can also read it with a parent .Finally,I like this book because it shows cool weird sea creatures that I don’t know they existed and I get to learn about them to.
