The pictures are appropriately detailed and the information is engaging. I do wish it had some question and answer blanks and maybe some activities other than just coloring, but I did get what was advertised at a good price.

This could have been much better. The body parts aren't labeled, and in some cases they aren't drawn well, e.g. a strange squared-off bottom instead of a curve. Also, when coloring large areas that are kind of boring to color like all the bones or giant heart muscle or lungs, they could have found a way to make it fun to color. For example, color-by-number sections with a code for different colors -- something a little artistic. This is essentially a set of not all that well drawn black and whites of the body that are not much fun to color. Label info is OK, but probably could have been more fun facts since this is for kids.

Great book for any kid beginning to learn about anatomy. My 11 year old loves the coloring and has leaned so much from the simple information on the pages. I have made up quizzes for her after every 5 pages... Great for homeschooling!
