I purchased this book about two months ago when my son was 8 months old and since then it has become our favorite book for bedtime. The pictures are beautiful...the story is soothing...and it almost always induces a yawn in my son when I begin reading it to him. This is one our favorites!

Absolutely love the text and illustrations - adorable book!! Flows well from page to page, cute story line.. well thought out and beautifully executed. My almost-2-year-old LOVES this book.. and so do I.

It is not often that one comes across illustrations that makes you want to delay flipping the pages, so that you can have more of what is on the page. The illustrations by Na are out of the world and the story is simple enough for my son to giggle and enjoy. Makes a great reading.

This book has quickly become a "must have" when my 2 yr old son chooses his bedtime stories each night. The illustrations are beautiful and have captivated the attention of my little one in far reaching ways; owls have become his favorite animal (this is HUGE in our home as the elephant held the title for so long).

I love this book. The illustrations are beautiful and the book itself is nicely written (as board books go, anyway). I saw it the first time in the waiting room of my sleep doctor's office and fell in love so I bought this version for my 1 year old.

My son and I adore this book. The illustrations are beautiful, and the text is a welcome change from the typical animal books. This is definitely a classic, and I plan on purchasing for all my friends' little ones. Love it!

The art style and illustrations is what drew me to this book initially. While it is very well made the story inside is very simple and straightforward. There are no rhymes (I find reading out stories with a sing-song rhythm is best for little ones). It simply details how certain animals go to sleep very curtly. Very short and uninspired writing for otherwise gorgeous illustrations.
