The way she painted this story resembles great artistry painting concise details in a blank canvas. Fun characters, Scenery that you can smell and attention to details that explain what women really want. You have a new fan!

Indie is a surgeon who is leaning towards specializing in ortho. Camden is a famous football player who just tore his ACL during a game. With his career on the line, Camden knows that surgery is his only option. This surgery is an opportunity of a lifetime for Indie considering she wrote about it when she was an intern. However, lines are crossed, and Indie feels her professionalism slipping away. She needs this surgery, but she also needs to complete her special list. Camden can help her accomplish these goals. What is more important…her job or her list?
Indie is a genius who missed out on a lot of childhood experiences. She is book smart, but she clams up when it comes to socializing with others. She also doesn’t know how to have true feelings for anyone. She has always been independent and by herself. The only friend she has is Belle, and you can tell that was more of Belle’s doing.
Camden is a twin and depends on his family for everything. He wants women for one night and his only focus is furthering his career in football. When he learns of Indie’s list, he knows he is the perfect candidate. Overtime, his feelings begin to change. I was very surprised at his determination and bravery for continuing to be up front about his feelings and what he wanted for himself.
This story was great, and I loved the puns used throughout the book. I kept trying to come up with my own! The family dynamic is awesome. They are such amazing characters, and I’m looking forward to reading how each brother’s story plays out!

'I’m drowning in deep, dark, delirious destiny. I’m in a place I never want to leave. A place I never want to say goodbye to. A place I never want to let go. Just sinking further and further into a world I’ve never known.'
This was the first book I’ve read from Amy Daws and I really enjoyed it! The super-hot cover and the blurb first grabbed my attention and I was intrigued to check it out. I fell in love with the Harris clan and am excited to see that the other brothers will be getting books, I am also going to have to go back and check out Vi’s story because I really liked her character as well. This book featured Camden Harris, star footballer and cocky player, and Indie Porter, resident genius who just so happens to be Cam’s doctor when he suffers a career threatening knee injury during a game. Cam’s entire life has been dedicated to football (that’s soccer for all us Americans) and having to face the potential of that all being lost leaves him in a bit of a tailspin. What he needs is a distraction and he thinks he’s found just the thing in the quirky, red-haired, bespectacled doctor, Indie. It doesn’t take long for his charms to begin to work on her, but she is still resistant to his advances for fear of jeopardizing her job. But, Indie has a “problem” as well and it turns out that Cam might be just the person to help fix it for her. When feelings start to get involved, can these polar opposites find common ground to make things work or will their differences be too big of a challenge to overcome?
“I want you, Indie. For more than five days. I want what I feel when I’m with you.”
Cam and Indie’s relationship originally had a five day expiration period but it didn’t take long for Cam to see that five days just wouldn’t be enough. I actually liked how it was the guy who fell for the girl first and how the girl was the one with the hesitation, wanting to keep the no-strings attached thing going. It’s usually the opposite so it was refreshing to see this little twist on it. Not to mention the fact that Cam was such a player at the start, cocky and all about his game, so to see the transformation as he began to realize that maybe it’s okay to want more was really a treat. I loved his character, he really had a journey of self-discovery throughout this book. Being laid up with an injury and having his once certain future be not quite so certain anymore caused him to dig deep and figure out what he really wanted in life. To a degree, Indie helped him with that, but I think that most of his journey was from self-reflection. This wasn’t an easy feat with his big, meddling (yet totally loving and supportive) family.
'She’s just a doctor. She’s just a girl I want to f***, but she keeps going things that make her so… different.'
Indie was a very unique character. She was something of a wonder child, forced to grow up fast when she was sent to boarding school and had skipped a few grades. She also had to be self-reliant because of the standoffish relationship with her parents. Being alone was what she was used to, so when she suddenly gets thrown into the craziness that is the Harris family, she finds herself in a bit over her head. Combining all of these foreign feelings with the fear of losing her job over her involvement with Camden and she’s a bit mixed up in the head. Due to this, she does make several frustrating decisions that I didn’t always care for, but I think it was true to her character given her upbringing and her general naivety (you know what they say about those who are book smart… sometimes they lack common sense). But by the end I really liked her and I was rooting for her and Cam to make it work.
Overall I really enjoyed this book and look forward to the other Harris brothers. I’m trying to decide which I’d like to see next. My first thought might be Tanner but being that he’s Cam’s twin, perhaps wait on him. Maybe Gareth? He seemed to be a bit mysterious and I would really like to get to know him better! In any event, if you are looking for a funny, sexy, sweet and slightly angsty read, you should give this one a try!
“Indie, you don’t even know what you are. You don’t even know what you do to me.”
My breath comes in harsh an goes out shaky.
“I’ve never, in my life, cared like this,” he murmurs against my lips. “I feel different with you.”

There is something about a good ole sports romance that just makes me smile. Challenge by Amy Daws is every cliché that I love about the sub-genre and she delivers exactly what this soccer loving girl wants. Soccer is my sport and I love when I find a soccer romance story that gets it right. This book is what I wanted! We have the sexy playboy sports star with a heart of gold, the subtly beautiful and quirky heroine, the passionate expectations that are shattered, and enough lust to keep the pages turning.
When a story that merges one of my passions in life with romance, you know it is going to be good. The writing in this story is well done. Everything I read was in line with what I wanted and Daws takes the story into something that has just enough originality to makes it fun to read, all the while hitting the highlights of what readers expect from a sports romance. Cam and Indie are brilliant together. These two are seemingly so different but they click very well. Indie is a refreshing young heroine. I loved everything about her. She is smart in a way that allows her naivety to shine through her character. She seemed to be a walking contradiction and watching her develop and grow in this book made me adore who she was. Add into the story Cam, the broken man trying to determine who he is and what he truly wants, you have a romance that is perfect. The secondary characters are all spot on in this book, adding depth to what is happening. I loved Cam’s family and Indie’s best friend Belle. These people are so well interconnected that it creates a fun environment for the main characters. All of this coupled with just the right amount of drama and angst creates a book that I enjoyed.
Daws is a new to me author and I will definitely be keeping her on the radar. Challenge is a book that is both a tad bit predictable in the best possible way but just what the doctor ordered. If you are a fan of sports romance, this book is a book to read. Indie and Cam’s story is a great blend of sweet, passionate, and renewing. Don’t miss it!

This was a fun read with some cute, quirky characters.
Camden Harris, soccer player extraordinare and big time ladies' man, tears his ACL and is devestated. Definitely a season ending injury, and could possibly be career ending. His entire life has been soccer and he starts to wonder what life would be like without it.
At the hospital, Cam meets Indie, the surgical intern who will be working with him regarding his knee injury. She's a little firecracker with red hair and despite disguising herself behind her many pairs of glasses, she attracts his attention.
He makes advances. She is flustered and pushes him off. She is also extremely inexperienced, in that she is a bit of a "Doogie Houser" and education was her priority, not her social life. Her family is a bit messed up and she has some trust issues to go along with her inexperience.
Their love story was fun to read and not your typical romance. Watch them struggle with the feelings they start to feel for each other. And watch Cam deal with his injury and just where he wants to go with his life.
Definitely want to read the other Harris Brothers stories!

Wow! This book was absolutely fantastic. It was recommended to me by a friend and I have to admit, I judge books by covers and by the cover I assumed this would just be a campy little romp.
Luckily the saying is true, and I shouldn't have judged this book by the cover because it was so much more than a romcom. This was contemporary sports romance at its best!
I honestly fell in love with Cam and Indie and the romance that grew between them! Their banter was pretty funny, and their connection didn't feel forced. Very natural! Some of the moments they shared were beyond romantic. I think I even shed a few tears during one particular chapter. The naughty bits are super hot, and also feel natural.
Loved the side characters! Indies friend Belle was amazing and I wish she was my bff! Cam's family was pretty awesome and also hilarious. Loved Tanner and Booker, but ABSOLUTELY need Gareth's story. Who doesn't like the broody brother?
This was honestly just a great read all around. My first read from Amy Daws and it definitely will not be my last. This book is a spin-off from another one of her series, but can definitely be read as a standalone. I plan to check out the rest of her work ASAP.

~~I received this in exchange for my honest opinion~~
I love reading Amy's work. Not only does she leave you with tears in your eyes, and a smile on your face, but you are left with a tiny hangover. I love reading books that are set in a different country. And it makes it even better that the author knows what she is talking about and she spells the words like she is from England. I love that.
I cried. And smiled, and when I had to go and leave to go someplace I was constantly thinking about this book. I couldn't get it out of my head. Challenge has everything that an amazing book needs. A egotistical alpha male that needs to have control at everything. And a very intelligent woman that is independent, but is lacking that one important thing that humans can't live without... human companionship.
I am not going to go into what this book has in it, and the synopsis. I am going to tell you that Amy writes like she is dancing. The words float off of the pages and makes the story that much better. If you have never read anything by Amy, you need too!

Shamelessly naughty and so damn funny. Just the thing to read after not touching a book in almost 2 months. Amy Daws is a definite favourite of mine. I love her wit, easy story flow, wonderful characters and the London setting is just perfect.
Challenge is a sports romance, the first book in the a series about the football playing Harris brothers and is technically a spin-off from her London Lovers books, but can be read as a complete standalone. In fact, this book is such mindless fun, it might actually be the best thing to get to know Amy's entertaining world of quirky heroines and swoon-worthy men.
This instalment tells the story of Indie Porter and Camden Harris. Cam is a football player, about to sign with Arsenal when he gets injured on the field. Enter Indie, his gorgeous and very innocent doctor. Sparks fly immediately. Yes, there is some major insta lust going on, but who cares. I laughed about penis lists, Harris brothers shenanigans and just because I had a fabulous time reading this. Can't wait for the next one. ;)

Challenge by Amy Daws completely swept me away. This fantastic romantic comedy kept me burning through the pages to find out what would happen next. I absolutely loved Amy's ability to develop memorable characters in a world I never wanted to leave. There were several times I laughed out loud as well as felt a wealth of emotions from reading this phenomenal story. The story was filled with humor and combustible chemistry. I seriously could not put it down. If pesky work hadn't gotten in the way, I would have devoured it in one sitting!
When the infamous Camden Harris is injured with a torn ACL, he has no idea just how much his life was about to change. The last thing he expects is for his shy, witty doctor to knock him off his rocker as well. Indie Porter is not only a child prodigy and one of the youngest second year residents, she had a spunky, unforgettable personality that Camden cannot get out of his mind. Her innocence and sheltered experiences sometimes gets in his way, but it is what makes them the amazing characters they are.
Amy Daws completely created a world in Challenge, I never wanted to leave. The minor characters were just as intrigued and I hope I see more of them in the future!
PS- I loved the audio version of incredible story. It is narrated in duet by Will Watt and Charlotte Cole. Their performance was superb! Their delivery of Amy Daws' humor was spot on! I would highly recommend listening to them in the near future!

Camden & Indie's story has taken me by storm. I love Camden's strong alpha character yet he shows such warmth and concern when he's with Indie. This is a brand new feeling for him. Amy Daws has really brought these characters to life and I just couldn't put this book down. Camden is a pro football player who gets injured and has to have some surgery. In comes Indie, a highly intelligent and skilled doctor who find herself instantly pulled towards this gorgeous hunk of a man. Hoping he could possibly be her "Penis #1" ( a list of requirements a man needed to possess to be her first lover) maybe he could take her virginity. They strike a deal that he would gladly help her with her "situation." Only Camden didn't realize that Indie would work her way under his skin. He's feeling things he's never experienced and wants more. Indie grew up never having any love from her parents, always living at private schools and very few friends. She doesn't know how to love and she's terrified. How will they work this out? Grab this book and enjoy!! I sure did!! On to Tanner's story :)

Amy Daws’ books always have excellent presentation-this one is no different: what a fabulous cover, title page, drawings of footballs between scenes etc. Just that little bit of finesse really adds to it. She gives us such brilliant detail and descriptions of her characters; their thoughts and feelings, jokey quips, little details like cheetah print glasses, sherbet lemons, the books they're reading-and the main character makes notes in his books-aaarggh! Even after all the books I’ve read from this author, she still surprises me! All this lighter stuff and then she includes something so raw.
This had a good beginning, I was straight in. It was very readable, it made me want to read on. And like at 2 o'clock in the morning! It was very refreshing that one of the main characters in an adult romance novel was a virgin. I couldn't have predicted that!
I love the different voices for the different chapters: Camden/Indie alternate chapters. I can see this will work very well in audio with dual narration again as she used for ‘That One Moment’. This quickly became a very entertaining read with the will they/won't they, sexual tension. The medical stuff was interesting, I love stuff like this, conditions and procedures I don't already know about.
These books are so much more. They're not just romance books. They’re much more substantial. Many different issues are explored. All very real things that happen to people all the time-but still surprising, not predicable in any way. Plenty of excellent dialogue and you really feel what the characters are feeling. Amy's books have it all from the highest of emotions to the lowest. You become totally engrossed in their lives and that's why you just have to read each next book in the series. I felt this could be a very interesting angle: Indie's parents are both archaeologists! That's right up my street-that could provide scope for another book in the series? Time Team comes to London Lovers!
This series is so interesting-they’re not just fluffy romance/erotic-these are made more interesting with all the thought she puts into her characters, their backgrounds, interesting jobs etc. I love these books! And ooh-Yorkshire got a mention!!!! Amy Daws has done it again: created a story you just want to read and read.
The 6th book in the series-would it get a bit samey? Absolutely not! Would it get a bit stale-it certainly wasn't!!! Amy still has mountains of ideas and each book comes up fresh every time. This book seemed to happen so quickly after That One Moment-I was hoping she hadn't rushed it out and that it would have that same magic. It more than had!!!
I felt that there was a bit more bedroom action in this one. It wasn’t my most favourite in the series but they’re all good and I still loved it. I just think that; even though you can read them in any order, a reader new to Amy’s books, and perhaps starting with this one, might get the wrong idea about the rest of the books. I think they have a bit of everything and this one was more focused on love story and sex scenes. I still enjoyed it as I have all of her other books and will be reading any more she writes. The twin thing can be an interesting angle in a book. It thought it would be interesting to see how things turn out in here-I was expecting her to do something with this but it didn’t happen. Not yet-maybe it could in the future.
Just a few little niggles-although this series is amazing to say this author is American yet writing about characters living in London, England: OR-in England we say operating theatre or just theatre. We don’t say intern-our equivalents are house officer/senior house officer etc. We would never say physical therapist-it’s physiotherapist or just physio. These are just a few things that could have been picked up eg. by a few more British beta readers? Still loved it and I can’t wait for the next!

Challenge was the first book I read by Amy Daws and mark my word it won't be my last! I already heard talking about her through one of my friends and I also "bought" for free two of her London Lovers Series books this summer so I just need time and I'll jump on them asap.
I wasn't planning on making a review but I'm going to do a small one anyway because the book was that good!
Challenge has all the qualities of a promising book. It starts with a hot football (soccer) player and a good laugh. After 2% Amy Daws already won me over! I was already convinced I was going to have a good time. And what more do you need with books?
Camden & Indie were two pleasant characters and their banter was so damn funny! Their puns were hilarious, her penis list was priceless and his ritual was memorable! I swear I'll never see football the same way ever again. And I'm a big fan of football. Thank you Amy! ;)
Camden is without a doubt book boyfriend material. He's caring, attentive even if he has his bad boy player ways. Football is his life and Indie turn his world upside down but he handle it naturally.
"“I’m not cocky. I’m certain.”"
Indie was an interesting character. Light at first she has more to offer than just a medical student who needs to stay focused. She has a though background that made me want to hug her hard.
Challenge was more than just a sport romance. It has a refreshing vibe with lots of laughs and swoon-worthy moments.
And to know that there's more to come is exhilarating. Camden has brothers but do I want the obvious to be next? Maybe not, Tanner is good but Gareth calls me more!
"I’m in a place I never want to leave. A place I never want to say goodbye to. A place I never want to let go. Just sinking further and further into a world I’ve never known."

Challenge is a light-hearted, sexy, sports romance. There's a professional lines are crossed and there's a bit of insta-lust going on. It's fun, flirty, and has a witty hero to boot.
Here's the breakdown: Camden Harris, a professional footballer (soccer player for us Americans) is injured during a match. Despite the significant pain, he's instantly attracted to the red-haired doctor who is way too young to be a practicing doctor. Indie, is really too smart for her own good. Because of that, she skipped several grades and is in fact younger than norm. The instant attraction these two feel is definitely mutual. What happens when professionalism takes a back seat to opening yourself up to experience love?
I enjoyed the chase! These two go back and forth, while Indie attempts to put her job first. Luckily, Camden is charming, funny, and beyond sexy. Therefore, he wears her down eventually. The story is cute, though not without a few challenges. Indie's immaturity was a bit of a problem for me. Camden was by far my favorite of the two main character. The storyline is cute, but also has some additional caveats that were quite interesting.
Overall, a satisfying read!

Challenge by Amy Daws a sporty surprising five-star read. This book is the start to the Harris Brothers series which is a spin-off of the London Lovers series, all books are stand-alone but do share some of the same characters.
This book centres around Dr Indie Porter who is a star in the hospital that she is a 2nd year resident at. Indie skipped some grades in school and is known for her amazing study skills and research she even has one of her research papers published, that leads to changes in the way they do a revolutionary surgery meaning she is a star in her own right. Indie hasn’t always had the easiest times, as she was younger than the others in school they didn’t always see things the same way, and lots of people in the hospital are jealous of this rising star. The one who isn’t is her best friend Belle, they made instant friends and she is the only real relationship that Indie has as she isn’t close to her folks and the cold grandma that raised her died a couple of years previously. Being so bad at friendships and relationships means that Indie is still a virgin, and now doesn’t know what to do, just sleep with someone or save it? So her and Belle make a list then even create a Pinterest board about it, there are 3 types she needs the first being someone who knows what he’s doing in bed, confident and cocky, and will give you a good time, the second someone who will worship you and cry as he comes, sensitive and caring, and the third the perfect guy a mix of both who you can settle with
The surgery that she wrote her paper about is one that the other main character Soccer star and general all around heart throb and lothario, Camden Harris needs to ensure he can go forward with his soccer career, as after getting most of the way through the season on the penultimate match the rain is against him and causes him to go down in the mud after a shady tackle meaning he tears his ACL, a possibly career ending injury. When he finds himself in hospital, he appreciates the Doctor who is looking after him, she’s hot in a nerdy type of way, not his usual look but she got enough curves to distract him from the pain and worry of his injury. Despite her telling him it can’t go further as she is his Doctor, he still kisses her and she realises that this could be the perfect number one for her list once he has completed his surgery’s. Only problem is he doesn’t want to wait.
This is a great read, and I can’t wait to go and read the books in the London Lovers series. If they are as well written, hot and funny as this book I am confident they will be 5 star reads also.

*I received an ARC from Southern Belle Promotions in exchange for an honest review*
Thank you so very much Southern Belle Promotions for sending me a copy of Challenge!! I am extremely honored and grateful!! :)
This was my first time reading Ms.Daws' work and I really enjoyed it!! I couldn't get enough of this sweet romance!! At times I wanted to shake some sense into the two main characters but I adored them all the same. I liked the fact that even though the focus was on sports it shows what many players go through in the sense of pressures from others and Injuries. Challenge is about Indie Porter who is a doctor that doesn't need distractions and Camden Harris a football player who proves to be the perfect distraction no matter how wrong that might be. Lines between patient and doctor are blurred. When challenges arise there are more than just goals on the line. It was sexy, hilarious, heartwarming, and enthralling! Ms.Daws created a read where things don't go according to plan and rules are meant to be broken! I can't wait to read more of her work!! :)
They become each others distractions and nothing will be the same. . .
Indie Porter was a character who was a doctor. She was always focused on being the best at her job and not messing up. Caring about her patients was as easy as breathing to her. Men were distractions and in her line of work she didn't have time for them. When Camden Harris pops up in her life she's never wanted anything more no matter the risks. Her work ethic was very admirable and I loved her determination day in and day out. She cracked me up at times and I liked how quirky she was. The banter between her and her best friend belle made me smile. I hoped in the end she would open up more and give love a chance.
Camden Harris was a character who was a footballer. He lived and breathed football. When he ends up injured and his career hangs in the balance he heads straight to the doctor but never expected to meet Dr.Porter (Indie). His mind becomes a terrible place to be stuck in and with others talking non-stop in his ears telling him what to do Indie becomes the distraction he needs. He was arrogant and very much a player. During the beginning I didn't quite like him but he won me over quicker than I thought he would. I liked how he called Indie Specs! There was more to him than just the sport he played. I also liked his siblings and dad even though they angered me at times. I hoped in the end he'd make his own decisions and not give up on Indie.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a read that will bring out your emotions and leave you wishing you had your very own footballer. You'll blush and laugh so much!! I'm so looking forward to the next Harris Brothers book and I can't wait to see which one gets his own first! They are all funny! If you haven't already One-Clicked Buy it Today!! Accept the challenge and be prepared to fall in love with these awesome characters!! 4.5 Stars all around!! :)

She is his doctor, he is her patient!
Camden Harris - sexy fit footballer
Indie Porter - Cute, Beautiful doctor.
They both are very happy and content with how they are living their loves, he's happy to love em and leave em - she's happy for plenty of fun with no strings! Until Cam finds himself in A&E with a damage knee and meets the fiery redheaded doctor.
She was looking for a man to help with her life plan, and even though Cam was her patient he did tick all the boxes.
They share a kiss and it seems as if all bets are of! Cam was more than happy to be on board with Indie's life plan.
They grab your attention, you really want them both to break down their barriers and start feeling.
It was great to catch up with Vi and Hayden, and meet the rest of the Harris clan. Just loved the banter between the brothers, especially Tan and Cam -
Booker seems to be hiding in the twins shadow, I wonder if he is too young for Julie, as I think they might be very well suited??
Just loved Belle, and if not mistaken there were some sparks between her and Tanner.
The sleazy Dr Pritchard, he certainly gets whats coming to him!
Cam and Indie had great banter, they jelled really well, they might have gone into their friendship as friends but they soon become so much more.
He really is a sweetheart and not once did he think of Indie as a one time girl. It was quite frustrating watching them try to navigate their feelings for each other, everyone could see it except them.
It was a pleasant surprise that the guy came to the conclusion way before the girl, although they talked they kept a ton of stuff hidden and once it surfaced and they actually worked through some of these things they were destined to be a couple.
Did they pick the right time to go public, well No! they were set up! but it did them a favour. The way the Harris brothers all rallied around, they really are a great family, good things are headed their way.
Hmmm wonder if Papa Harris can finally get over his grief, and maybe find himself a new match. Who doesn't like a silver fox!

Amy Daws does it again with a fantastic sports based romance that is super sexy, super funny but has some really heartfelt moments that bring the characters to life.
Indie - the glasses wearing cute redhead - is a second year resident doctor who is strait laced, super smart (skipped grades at school smart!).
And Camden is a swoon-worthy, hot and sexy alpha male football (soccer) playing Harris brother (one of four football playing brothers and a football manager dad).
Camden receives a potentially career ending injury and could use a distraction as he contemplates whether there is life after football. Indie wants to explore life beyond work and Cam would be the perfect way to have a little fun and no get to serious.
What happens when feelings get involved? When a distraction...when a bit of fun...starts to feel like so much more???
Get ready for a novel filled with laughs, puns galore and a whole lot of heart ❤️⚽️

I loved the immediate chemistry between Indie and Camden. His family is going vet the top: nosy, interfering and all around annoyingly adorable. I loved that indie was honest about her sexual status and that Camden wasn’t freaked out or overly smarmy about it. Their conversations were funny and charged.
I really loved the duet aspect of this audiobook. Hearing the words in the appropriate voices added so much to the story. I have listened to some excellent audiobooks with both singular and dual narrators. Duet added an extra layer of goodness to the story. I loved the dynamic of hearing both narrators in the same conversation.
I look forward to reading the next books in this series!

The Story:
Challenge is the first book of Amy Daws that I have done and gauging from Indie and Cam's story it most certainly won't be the last! I was hooked right from the start, caught up in the epic romance that was to be Indie and Cam. They run hot and cold and then reach fever pitch with the steamy sex scenes! The writing, plot, imagery and development of the characters all flawless and on point; at no stage did it falter. I did want to see a bit more behind the Dr Prichard ending but in the grand scheme of things that's minor! The supporting characters were great and I can't wait to follow them throughout the series. Challenge has renewed my interest in football! Bring on Endurance!
The Narrators:
Full disclosure- I'm not usually steer clear of books and audibles with British accents mainly because the ones I've come across are badly acted, but DAMN if Will Watt and Charlotte Cole didn't just have me begging for more! They are a super combination, one which allowed Amy Daws' brilliantly written Indie and Cam (and co) to come to life seamlessly. I'll be following these captivating narrators future works.

This was a heartfelt, entertaining, deeply touching story. This is my first book from this author and I borrowed it from KU. The story begins in a really cliche insta lust fashion, but soon develops into a story of two insecure, vulnerable people who have no idea what they want.
Cam is a football player with an injury, Indie is a child prodigy turned surgical intern who is put on cam's surgical team. Cam comes from a large loud family that is overly involved in each other's lives and always in each other's business in an overwhelming and loving way, while Indie comes from a cold detached family who she never actually lived with and due to her skipping so many grades, was never able to connect with anyone, peers or otherwise, until med school where she made one friend who she spends all her free time with.
Cam is a womanizer, Indie is a virgin who wants to lose that status, but wants it to be with someone who will make it a good experience, but not have a relationship with them. They strike a deal to hook up and work out their lust issues after Cam's surgery and then go their separate ways; however, drama ensues and feelings are had and both characters have so much baggage that they need to deal with that it creates a wall they need to overcome.
Told in dual POVs, both characters are funny and relatable. Not extremely angsty, but definitely a few tear inducing moments where you felt deeply for each character! Easy couple to root for and makes you want to read about side characters! Not extremely steamy, but detailed love scenes pertinent to the story (not overly gratuitous). Definitely recommend, will definitely read more from this author.

Fun, fast-paced sports romance set in London and centered around a footballer and a doctor. Indie is a fun, quirky, bespectacled doctor that has a proposition for the recently injured cocky footballer Cam, who also just happens to be who new patient. This was my first read from author Amy Daws and she sucked me into her world of quirky, feisty, brilliant females and hunky, athletic, swoon-worthy men. I quickly devoured Challenge and Endurance (the fist two books in the series centered around the Harris twins) back-to-back. The only negative for me was that the back and forth insecurities of both Indie and Cam got too repetitive, but overall a great sports romance. I'll definitely be looking forward to the next books in the series.

Great book. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to the rest of the Harris Brother's stories.
Nothing ground breaking, virgin (yeah, virgin) heroine enlists manwh***/bad boy athlete to show her what she's been missing. Bad boy falls for good girl etc. What makes it special is the humor. I'm new to Amy as a reader and I was really happy with her. She made me laugh and swoon and that's what matters.
1.) Cheating? None.
2.) Cliffhanger? Nope.
3.) HEA (Happily Ever After)? Nope but a fun Happy for Now that should satisfy you.
4.) Violence? Nope, not that sorta book.
5.) Writing/Grammar? A little choppy and a few mistakes but otherwise good.
6.) Sexual content? MF only. Woah crazy hot. Vanilla but super swoony melty vanilla. Just enough content to be interesting not so much that you get bored. Which is important to note since they're trying to work through a list of sorts lol
7.) Would I recommend this book to my friends? Sure.
8.) POV? Dual

Indie Porter is a prodigy orthopedic doctor doing her internship and carrying her v-card at twenty-four. Camden Harris is a fame football God who’s suffered a possible career ending injury who doesn’t do relationships. Dr. Porter has her goal to lose her v-card based on her Penis List that she and her bestie Belle compiled. There’s three phases to this Penis List. The challenge for both of them is to keep their one-night to just the Penis Number One category, all about sex and losing the v-card.
Camden is looking for a distraction from his injury and that usually involves the opposite sex. Indie is looking for a guy to fit the bill for Penis Number One who happen to fall in her lap. Camden is more than willing to fulfill Penis Number One but once he finds out about Number 2 and Number 3, he’s willing to take that challenge on. Indie isn’t looking for Number 2 and Number 3 in Number 1, she wants to sample a variety. What she finds herself doing it trying to get her plan back on track that careened off course by a footballer. The journey is rough, full of meddling family member, heartbreak and then clarity of what’s really important.
I had a tough time scheduling sleep around this book. It’s a fun, witty, entertaining, sensual read. Amy’s bloody descriptions and use of English slang, Tequila Sunrise philosophy, puns and the Penis List…very clever indeed!
