I have read many Sophie Kinsella books. I have re-read many of them. This will probably not be a re-read, but it was good. The characters were likeable. The plot was decent. It just seemed to be missing that extra oomph to make it a re-read book.

This book was great. I loved how it made reference to how social media affects people today and how many young people use it to portray a "perfect" life that literally does not exist for them. The truth is that life is filled with ups and downs, good news and bad news and it is this part of life that people don't portray on social media. All in all, it was a great story. Sophie Kinsella always delivers!

Witty main character, romance, and a bit of suspense. The perfect book about an imperfect life. It also dabs on the filters people use on social media and the effect it has and people scrolling through pages. I was not disappointed.

There’s not been one book but Sophie Kinsella that I’ve not liked. She doesn’t disappoint with this story either. If you’re a lover of any romance novel with a good plot and a hearty character that makes you want to shake her and hug her read this!

I think I liked this book because the people were so real. It's almost like watching a movie reading Sophie's books, I can see these characters in my minds eye. Not very many writers have this ability to create such strong characters. What a great story, you will love it!

The story is sweet, funny, engaging and endearing, as the characters are ver real and relatable. But what I loved the most was how the book lead me to reflect in the relationships between bosses and employees. Today, I see my boss in a different light.

Starts out with promise...very funny. But then, it takes an odd turn and never gets back on track. it's as if Ms. Kinsella let a 16 year old girl finish writing the rest of this book for her. A very whiny, entitled main character who is prone to tantrums when she can't get what she wants is hard to like and the ending felt as it were wrapped up for a deadline. Skip it.

I have enjoyed other books by Sophie Kinsella, but this one in particular was just ok in my opinion. I found I disliked the character at times because she seemed unreasonably angry and vengeful towards her boss. Parts that were supposed to be “Hilarious” seemed plain mean to me. On the other hand it’s fine if you are looking for some light reading as a pastime.

This novel reminded me of rom-com movies. Even though the ending is somewhat predictable, it's entertaining and I really liked the main character. It was the perfect escape from thinking about real life, so I could fall asleep at night after reading a few chapters.

The romance ending kinda sucked and felt disjointed from the rest of the book. Also, a few interesting characters are introduced and then dumped. (Fi? Alan the roommate? The cult-ish subletters?)

The only good parts were the Demeter and Katie moments, and the family farm. Everything else felt a bit superfluous.

Sophie Kinsella has made another fantastic story! I have read most of her stand alone novels, and just when I think I have found my favorite, she comes out with a new amazing novel! This story was amazing!

I enjoyed the detail oriented fiction on the subject of branding which I know nothing about. It also reminded me to always hold off making judgment on other people and that social media is only half of the story. An entertaining read.

Sophie Kinsella has another winner. Her plots are tangled and her humor is right on. There is so much to this book that the average woman can relate to. Friendship plays a key role and how it can twist and turn but remain as a foundation was what made this Kinsella novel a bit different.
