Review:This book should not have been published. I read the first book in the series, Slave to Sensation, and it was interesting. However, this book is a waste of time. It is pretty much the first book re-written with different character names. There is no development from the first book to the second. It was so boring that I only read a third of the book and couldn't even stomach the rest. I definitely do not recommend this book - even if someone gives it to you for free! Read more
Review:I love this series because the next book is better than the previous one. The development of the characters keep the interest of the reader and never disappointed with the information learned about them. I can't wait for the next book to see how Christian and Ravens relationship will grow closer . Read more
Review:I loved this book. Just what I've come to expect from Christine Feehan, a wonderful mix of action, romance, a good story and great sex. The thing I like the most is that this author keeps the continuity of her stories intact and the flow natural. I would recommend this book and this author to anyone who loves to read, give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Read more
Review:I absolutely love to read Christine Feehan's Dark Series. Dark Promises does not disappoint! What is so beautiful to me is the passion between a strong man and a strong woman and the way Ms. Feehan weaves their strengths and weakness where together they are better than they are alone! Review:I loved this series right up until this book. I usually have a hard time tearing myself away from one of her books, but this time I actually had to force myself to finish it.
While certainly not my favorite thing, I can deal with when a main character gets raped but to last for that length of time and then on top of that not even have Elle really deal with what happend, it makes no sense to me. It's not the first time Feehan has done this either. She did something similar in the GhostW... Read more
Review:Christine Feehan's Carpathian world is deeply and yet darkly romantic. The arrogance aside, her characters have deep emotions and struggle to do what's right. Without any spoilers... this book hits its mark and is romantic and suspenseful. Read more
Review:I love Christine Feehan and have almost all her books. I was looking forward to this book and as soon as it came I put everything aside and started reading it. This was not all about sex although it was in it but it did have a lot of action, which was great. I liked seeing Alonzo and Evangeline's relationship slowly come together. Evangeline seemed so quiet and shy in the beginning but boy did she come out of her shell and then Alonzo could not hold her down to protect her. I loved how she ... Read more
Review:I have read everything I've ever found written by Christine Feehan. Some I've enjoyed more than others. But I can state unequivocally that she is a truly gifted writer. Judgement Road is technically the first book in the new Torpedo Ink series. She has actually brought three of her series together in a seamless fashion. In this new series we get to know a group of people that were reared to be killers. They were abused and tortured from childhood. But they survived by banding together. They ar... Read more
Review:Pre-ordered and looked forward to it as I've read all the dark series several times over. This one is sluggish and just not up to the standard of the others. I usually finish one of her books in a single sitting. Been working on this one for days and keep waiting for something to happen. I'll think twice before I pay full price for any new books of hers. Review:I don't review every book I've read and I'm not big on the fancy words. I am an avid reader and spend more time reading then reviewing. But when in my opinion, I have read a good book or a bad one; I put my 2 cents in.
I guess I am one of the few a little disappointed in this book, but there always has to be one, it seems. Being a devoted reader of Feehan's books (And I have them all); I even bought this in hardback instead of waiting for the paperback.
Although the book wasn't ba... Read more
