Review:Having read some Lynsay Sands' before, I was quite excited when I got this one. The feeling didn't last long.
The novel starts at what feels like the middle of a story. I assume the events were already set up in a previous book, but if you haven't read it (like me) it just leaves you feeling confused and bewildered. Review:Medieval historical romance with humor abound. Lord Holden and Lady Helen find some hilarious situations to be entangled in. This was a lighthearted read that gave me much to enjoy with each new chapter. Looking for a light yet fun read that will gave you a better view of the day pick up Bliss. Read more
Review:This was a pretty easy, light read as far as I'm concerned. Definitely not heavy, epic romance. Just a fun, easy read. It reminded me a lot of the Julie Garwood books I inhaled back in my young adult years. Sometimes very amusing or funny, sometimes somewhat suspenseful, An English Bride in Scotland was a pleasant enough read for me. But not one I'd absolutely recommend as a bookshelf favorite. Review:Very disappointing story. Basically the female lead is just plain stupid. I like sass and spunk, hate to be confined but sheer stupidity over and over and over and over (repeat 10 times) is just plain disgusting. Not recommended even though I like this author in general. Read more
