Review:This is absolutely the best book to read about children with autism. The author shares her experiences and is very in-tune with her child. I bought several copies to hand out to family to help them understand a beautiful autistic child in our family. Very good and easy read. Read more
Review:I have never known or be around anyone with autism or similar. Saw her on The Dr's. I was curious how she had accomplished what she had done. Very interesting on how hard and long it took her to get where she is today. It is amazing how she has pushed herself and how lucky she is for parents who never gave up and were willing and able to do whatever it took to help get her to this point. Maybe one day she will be able to voice it for real. A must read to learn what the person with autism i... Read more
Review:This book is a quick easy read with an inspirational and powerful message. Its interesting seeing this lifestyle through a young girl's eyes. Nevertheless, it demonstrates the importance of "angels" in one's life and makes me want to be there for others and to never pass judgement.
I can't help but wonder how's everyone doing now and what's her mother's story? Read more
Review:Well written. I'm getting my degree in social work, I learned about Leslie Morgan Steiner from a video I had to watch for my family development and decided I wanted to read this book. It was disturbing to read about the abuse that happened to her. Although,I thought this was a really good book. Read more

The science behind it is all very interesting and valuable to have and understand, but it went a bit too far. It read like a marketing tool, which I suppose it is... Read more
Review:I struggle to find #ownvoices autistic main characters in contemporary realistic books for adults, so when I heard about this book, I bought it immediately.
Stella was fully developed and very relatable for me. Her relationship with Michael had a wonderful balance of circumstance-based tension and cuteness. Read more
Review:The book is amazing. It is the foundation for Transaction Analysis. All people play games with each other, either consciously or unconsciously. This book is easy to read and will teach you how to spot a game and how to not fall into its trap.
I highly recommend it for everyone. Read more
Review:Byron Katie is someone who has found the 'way'. There is no pretense in her writing. She is a free agent in a beautiful world and is genuinely ready and even eager to teach the unfree world how to do it. I loved reading and understanding and smiling at her pure logic. Read more
Review:I have to agree with the other reviewers that this is a very good book. I am a pretty tough critic, who reserves five stars for books that change my life. While this book fell just short of that classification, I can say that my life is a little easier/better after reading it.
If you are reading these reviews, you probably have some experience with the subject. For that, I offer you my condolences. The good news is two-fold. First, it gets better with time. Second, books like this one can... Read more
