Review:This book is the definition of suspense.

Review:Audrey the daughter of Dr. Madison, was involved with Nate and he believed she had betrayed him. Considering how he grew up Nate's belief seems childish and dies a quick death. The motivations of the Commander are exposed and I wish the author had explored that more. They gave intense depth to a rather shallow plot. Read more
Review:I love the Dark Protector series and the wonderful stories Rebecca creates. This book however, is one of my favorites so far. Such great story telling with lots of twists and turns. I can't wait for the next one in the series!! Read more
Review:I was so looking forward to this book. I'd never heard of the series but was enthralled and enjoyed all three of the initial books. Phedre is a unique and fascinating character. I couldn't wait for more. I was shocked to see Phedre was no longer the narrator in this book.
The young prince is a slightly interesting supporting character but I have absolutely NO DESIRE to read any books with him as the main character. I am very disappointed and will not be purchasing any more books in the... Read more
Review:First of all, I loved the main characters. Megan was so feisty and never backed down from a fight. She was truly entertaining. And Tren was a great Alpha hero. Really loved this book and downloading the 2nd one in the series ASAP! Read more
Review:The way the story unfolded was different. I liked the characters and found them to be a good match for each other. The secondary characters were also well developed and the way they fit into the story was also well done. Daniel is a powerful character and new book boyfriend material. Read more
Review:So . . . my biggest issue with this book is the heroine. She is . . . not the brightest and says/thinks some really annoyingly stupid things. It really took me out of the story. First of all, in reference to her father's debilitating depression, she keeps saying that she wishes she could "cheer him up". Her father's depression is so bad that he would sit in a dark house for hours, and she sighs and mopes because she just wants to "cheer him up". That is the phrase used multiple times. It was rea... Review:I love contemporary romance novels, and Jill Shalvis never disappoints. No matter how funny or crazy her stories get, I always relate to and believe the characters. I was sucked in to this story right away. There have been a ton of lucky harbor novels, but the second I put one down I can't wait to read the next one! Read more
Review:This story is filled with alot of interesting characters who seem to repeat in all of the stories, but it doesn't have much of a story line. I only just started this series with Books # 10, 11 and 12 so I can't compare it to the others in the series. I guess you have to figure that the people in the story will get together and they do. I was just a bit disappointed that they weren't all that different. Read more
Review:Great read. Jill Shalvis has the ability to connect because her characters are just like you and me. Everyday people who make mistakes, but still keep putting one foot in front of the other to try to get their lives in order. Read more
