Review:I first read this book and its sequel "Hunters of Space" as a jr. high student in the mid '60's. in the next 50 plus years I dare say I have read thousands of books from classic to historical to science and business publications. And yet I have never forgotten this story of adventure, romance, bravery and loyalty. A story of great evil and the battles it initiates. I just found this jewel of a site that has allowed me to buy it again. After 50 years I can't wait to read it again! To say I am exc... Read more
Review:Fantastic story and fantastic reading. The reader was perfect for Mark Twain's style. This book made our 14-hour drive bearable. This is the first Mark Twain audiobook that I've listened to, and I'm looking forward to more. Read more
Review:First of all....ILOVE KRISTEN ASHLEY! I read a few of the reviews that gave this book 2 & 3 stars and was disappointed before I even started this book. I am happy to say that I really enjoyed this book. I went back and re-read the books leading up to Kaleidoscope just to refresh my memory of the characters....I am glad I did because it made me reconnect with the characters. I must say that I really enjoyed this series and this final book. Love me some Jacob Decker! Read more
Review:After reading some of the more negative reviews of this book, I was hesitant to buy it. Glad I did. Really enjoyed the story. Another sweet love story from Kristen. Loved the two main characters - Zara and Reece. Although not as dramatic as some of Kristen's story, the story plot was suspenseful. Read more
Review:If you like stories about trained dogs, this is one to read. There were a few areas that were far fetched but overall. Not a distraction.. Would have liked to see a lead in to the starting setting, but novel was still interesting to me. Read more
Review:This book was hypnotic. I first listened to it on audible then downloaded it on my kindle to actually read it. It’s one of the best written books I’ve read in ages, although I was disappointed in the ending. The ending seemed rushed and fully in line with the character Circe. Overall though, I’ve recommended this to multiple people. I can’t wait to see what the author does next! Read more
Review:Split the Party is pretty entertaining, though it took a bit to get into it. Which is a matter of pacing, I think. This book started our five heroes further from the plot than the first volume, and Mr. Hayes isn't good at the quiet before the storm.
The only other negative was minor proofreading errors, especially in the last third of the tale.
Overall, a fine addition to the series. Solid characters, mysteries, schemes, villains, sacrifice, and challenge fill the pages.
Enjoy i... Read more
Review:I've been enthralled with this series right from the start. It's kind of like Harry Potter, but with super heroes, and much better character dynamics. It has a good mix of humour, drama, and action, with likeable characters that are easy to identify with. Really looking forward to the next instalment. ?? Read more
Review:No spoilers, just appreciation for a wonderful read. This book had a lot of everything I love: action, romance; comedy, fantasy, and adventure. I wish it didn’t have to end, but at least I can look forward to living it again when it hits Audible. Read more
Review:Further adventurs of Fred Fletcher, the vampire accountant, when a clan of vampires wants to settle in his city.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the book a lot. However, I feel compelled to lower the stars to three simply due to the fact that the book is short.
Very short. Longer than a short story, true, but still very much short on stuff happening. There are two major events in the book, and a lot of background detail. Satisfying detail. Quality detail, which makes one happy with the boo... Read more
