Review:Exactly what I would expect from Faye Kellerman. Her story is fun and her characters all move with intelligence and direction. Never sure who the culprit is too soon. Nice to see where the relationship in this story started as I have read several of her later books. Read more
Review:This was a pleasant read. Kind of predictive . It ended abruptly , like an unfinished story. I wanted more revealed about the characters. Maybe the author continues in her next book?? I don't know if I'll try it though. . Read more
Review:Cathy Bryant's "Pieces on Earth" is a well-developed story which is certain to touch hearts at Christmas and throughout the year. Sharing the message of the hope found in Jesus without being sappy or "preachy" is one of Cathy's very real talents. As the characters develop through the story, I was particularly impressed with the honesty of the emotions portrayed, the clever clarification of the distinction between "pieces" and "peace" and the consistent weaving together of modern life and the l... Review:Wow. . . just WOW!!! I loved this book so much. There was so much chemistry and love between Hudson and Tori. I loved that even though they had very painful pasts, they were willing to trust and try love again.
Tori had witness a murder that had been ordered by her fiance' in New York. She had to flee with her two children and try to start a new life with new names hoping that Dominic would never be able to find her. She lived in constant fear that he would hurt her and her children ... Read more
Review:Do yourself a favor and do not start this series. The author should have spent her time writing about all that is lovely and of good report about the Amish instead of by trying to venture into poorly written and even worse Englisher crime fiction. "hooligans" should have alerted me that I was wasting my time. Read more
Review:This is a really wonderful book too! I purchased it for my daughter who first gave me a copy of it, but I believe I mailed it to a friend in a share a book type of chain letter. I read the book after Cindy asked me if I still had it so she could read it again..but I didn't, so I purchased it from you and then read it again myself and sent it on to Cindy. I have ready many of Francine Rivers' books and have loved most of them. She is a good writer, very interesting, and I like how she connect... Read more
Review:Jane Kirkpatrick's newest novel is truly everything that makes historical fiction such a wonderful genre. Carefully researched and based on multiple accounts of true events, the book examines the life of Eliza Spalding - daughter of some of the earliest missionaries to the Nez Perce, survivor of a horrific attack that left 13 other people brutally murdered, and the first white child born in the Oregon Territory to survive.
The Memory Weaver may indeed be chock full of historical insight ... Read more
Review:Over all I enjoyed this book until the final chapter. The ending was very abrupt. One minute she was struggling to move on from a bad marriage and the next she was fine and ready to get married again. I felt like there was a lot more that could have been done to lead up to the 'happy ever after" ending Read more
Review:Mary Connealy’s newest book The Accidental Guardian will keep you guessing as the suspense rises and the action swirls faster than the coming winter blizzards onto Trace’s mountain ranch! I absolutely loved the way that Connealy introduces the characters in the first chapter. She starts the action with a bang and keeps it going throughout the whole book!
Trace and Deborah hit it off, too. For the most part, I enjoyed their growing relationship, though sometimes it felt a bit too fast and c... Read more
