Review:I loved this book!! I am a fan of Ms James' historical romances but I have to say this is my favorite book of hers. Following a diagnosis of breast cancer and subsequent treatments, she packs up her family for a year of living in Paris, France.
There is humor in her writing as she has us follow along on the escapades of her precocious ten year old daughter and her fourteen year old son. They alternately love and hate their year in Paris. Eloisa spends time sampling many restaurants, c... Read more
Review:I started reading Morrie: In his own words. I was disappointed in the book because I felt that there was too much repetition. I tried returning the book since I really did not initially accept it because the price was not initially given. I felt that the book was overpriced and did not continue reading it. I was unsuccessful in returning the book because my password was changed without my permission. Read more
Review:As a widower for ten years, this book is the best yet on the grief and grieving process. Good practical information. Not an academic type of publication. I have read many such books since my spouse died.
Another excellent book is C.S. Lewis' "A Grief Observed". Read more
Review:While there's a lot of books out there that teach you how to use tricks to pick up women, this one is different. Andrew goes beyond women psychology and focuses on what it takes to be a man. A true man that naturally attracts the right women to him. I don't want to spoil what's in this book, but I will tell you it's the perfect read for any man who wants to become the best versions of themselves and date women they can only dream about. Review:Dr. Glover's highly readable book delivers succinctly insight after insight on the all but pervasive "Nice Guy syndrome." Without doubt, No More Mr. Nice Guy is the most illuminating explanation on the people-pleasing, self-abnegating pathology I have discovered. Read more
Review:I've read numerous pick-up books(BANG, The Game, MODELS, No More Mr Nice Guy, etc...), but I can honestly say this is the last book on pick-up I ever plan on reading because it is without a doubt the best. If you are looking for a book full of tricks, quick tips, pick-up lines, and openers then you'd better look somewhere else. The author, Mr Anton, makes it clear from the very beginning that his primary goal is to change your mindset rather than hand you a tool box full of the standard pick-up ... Read more
Review:This book gave me a lot of insight into what women really want. The only problem I had was it had so much information. When I needed to go back and touch up on something in the book, I couldn't remember whee it was. In this regard I found that the book How you too can get pussy: by giving her what she wants had the same info in a tighter package. Read more
