Review:This book contains so much more insight and information than I expected when I ordered it. Not only are there tips and techniques for sales people but there are unique perspectives that would interest teachers and anyone in management. I love it when I get more than I expected! Read more
Review:Many of the concepts in this book reminded me of thoughts from How I found Freedom in an Unfree World. I have looked for that book, but it’s out of print and crazy expensive. Great logic on personal responsibility for your own happiness. Read more
Review:I found the ideas In there very similar to how I work as a crowd controller supervisor. It has given me more direction on how to refine my communication skills when dealing with the public as well as family members.

Review:I read Lucy Grealy's "Autobiography of a Face" and liked it; I was moved by her suffering, as I had endured taunts by my schoolmates about my appearance all throughout my childhood, too. I read Ann Patchett's article about Grealy in New York magazine, and was shocked at how unstable Grealy really was. This book is a longer version of the article, and it is even more shocking in its details of how truly mentally ill Grealy was. But what is really appalling to me is the promoting of this book as a... Read more
Review:The story was okay, but the errors were crazy. I have read two of her books now and I had the same problem with the 2nd book. Please let me know who is reading these books before they go to print. The errors make the author seem like she can't write. You spend some much time figuring out the errors that you somewhat lose the story. Read more
Review:This is a great book for anyone who has lost a pet. I found it helpful after my pet passed away and I was letting go. It helped me understand better what the last few months were about, too, although during those last months I was not prepared to read this or anything that wasn't directly about how to manage! I will likely give this as a gift to any friend who loses a pet. A kind book. Read more
Review:I learned so much about death and dying from this wonderful book. These nurses really know what they are talking about and have the experience to back it up. I see the process so differently now...they are different ways to understand what dying people are saying. They are not necessarily delusional, they are expressing themselves in a symbolic way. It is a language that can be learned. Read it NOW for you will someday be in a place to need this information. Read more
Review:The book was nice and informative but also sad. Basically, men are pigs and commitment phoebic, there is nonsuch thing as soul mates and fairy tails, and that in order to be happy, you basically have to think like a man and be manipulative. Well, now I don't want a freaking man. Read more
Review:This book is not very complex or demanding of the reader and contains a plethora of common-sense theorems that any thinking man should not go without. Even if you're relationship is already good, this book is very helpful in giving ideas and tips on how to keep it going well and for the man to continue attracting his wife. I was very enthusiastic (and so was my wife) when I learned that the main premise of the book is for the man to improve himself as the primary factor in improving his sex li... Read more
Review:The term soulmate has been thrown around so loosely that it has lost most of it's meaning now a days. This book shows by example what a loveing careing and nurtureing realtionship is and what you sometimes go through to get there. If you think your in love now, read this book and look at yourself. Look at the person your in a relationship with. Look at the people around you. On the subway, in line at the movie theather. After a while and if you do find your soulmate (and nobody promises you ... Read more
