Review:I first tried this with my middle child before he started potty training. He loved it almost instantly. The book helped him become more aware of himself and others and aided his ease into using the toilet. Yes, the "chamber pot" might not be contemporary, but he still made the connection. My youngest started reading his book and it also has helped her use the potty. But, this might be because "she" (21months) was much easier to train than my two oldest boys. She's very interested in the book, so... Read more
Review:This is the best potty book we have purchased thus far. My daughter really responds to the crown and stickers. She gets really excited to use the potty so she can put a new sticker on her crown. The story is cute too- perfect for little girls. Read more
Review:Not a terrible book. Somehow I thought it would be all about firefighters going potty. It's about all different types of people that go potty. My son loves firefighters and is not really interested in the other pages. Did not work for potty training, but he does laugh at the firefighter going potty. Read more
Review:Very cute book that actually goes through the process of the little boy getting a potty and encourages your child to use it. We found this very helpful as a guide for our son who actually requests it when being read to. Read more
Review:Ok. My kids usually have to go potty after shortly reading this. It's a good recap of the potty episode of Daniel tiger. The flush button on the top right of book is hard to push however and makes a flushing noise that is hard to hear. Read more
Review:Got this to introduce potty training to my daughter. She loves it. She had an accident one day and I said "oh, you peed in your pants." And she replied "but mom says "that's ok!"" (Which is a line from the book). Read more
Review:Though the stickers and chart seem to be exciting for my little boy, I could have saved myself some money and just as easily made my own chart and bought cheaper stickers. The pictures weren't that creative, but if you don't have time to make your own, it's probably worth the money. Read more
Review:I purchased this book & another book (Too Big for Diapers (Ernie of seasame Street). This book was just too long of a story for my just turned two year old girl. She just wasn't interested in hearing the story, thus the book is like new on the shelf. But the Too Big for Diapers book was a big hit--she likes Ernie so that was the first thing. The story is short & too the point and the pictures of Ernie are big & bright. But this book is a long story & pastel pictures of a li... Read more
Review:In Kindle format the text is very small. There is a typo and I'm not fond of the part where the kid dives into 3 ft of water. That seems like something the author should have flagged. The info about the brain is great but it should be formatted to showcase the illustrations. Read more
Review:Very clear and concise book that pre-teens can learn from. It is written in a way that is scientific, but not overly stuffy and in a language that can be easly understood by a pre-teen/teen. This is a sexual education book, so yes it does talk about reproductive organs of both boys and girls. It does discuss sex. It does have illustrations. It also includes slang for reproductive organs. As an open-minded adult who encourages her child to ask questions, I really liked this book. I read it first... Read more
