Review:impressed with this book. Not too much information,, very straightforward. I read it to my 5 year old and 8 year old boys. I think I should have started earlier with the 8 year old. I would recommend the "Its so amazing " book for 8 year old + ages,, and also would recommend "You mean its not the stork?" book for 5+ year olds. Both are informative and can be read in pieces to what you see fit. Read more
Review:You start off reading "The Tooth Book" wondering why Dr. Seuss, writing under his Theo. LeSieg pseudonym, is taking so much time answering the question "Who has teeth?" That is because the answer seems rather obvious and even more so when this book gets to the importance of teeth to chewing, smiling, speaking, and trapeze artists who are supporting their partners by something they are holding on to with their teeth. Then the book touches on a few animals that do not have teeth, and again you f... Read more
Review:My kid loves the illustrations. She makes me read it again and again and I finally memorize the whole book. So, when we need to brush teeth I just recite the words and she would stop fighting and starts brushing. Read more
Review:Bought as a present for a little girl (4yrs old) and she loves it! Her mom loves to cook and bake so this is a perfect way to bring some of what they both like together in the kitchen. Arrived in great condition. Read more

Review:I chose this book for my granddaughter. It has just been mailed to her mom for approvel. I'm sure it will answer some
questions a 14 yr. old may be embarressed to ask a parent. I want her mom to inspect it first though. I believe she will find it a good book. A couple of years ago I bought the same type of book for my two grandsons. I thought it explained about the body and the changes in the body very well. I was happy with this book and I would recommend it to anyone with young teens. Read more
Review:I love these American Girl writers. We had a book for Girls that my daughter just loved and honestly, consulted in times of need with middle school relationships, girl drama, etc.
We have an open policy in our house that any question will be met with an honest, thoughtful answer and privacy will be maintained. You will never be mocked, lied to or made fun of for your questions. But even I know that kids sometimes want answers without having to ask Mom or Dad. Even older siblings can be da... Read more
Review:This book is a travesty. My mother read this book to me as a child and I remember even now how uncomfortable I felt seeing the illustrations. As a 30 year old woman I am appalled. This book is shockingly sexist, heteronormative, and outdated. It placates girls’ fears about their changing bodies by telling them their breasts and vaginas - whatever size and shape - are beautiful because they are attractive to men. The only sources the book cites are men, including a male doctor who claims tha... Read more
Review:I remember when I was a kid absolutely loving this book! As a child, I loved the heroic tale of Balto and enjoyed the detailed pictures. Now, almost 20 years later as an artist, I still enjoy the illustrations and simple plot. Great for kids! Read more
