Historical Romance
Review:Started off promising but quickly lost momentum. Good premise but the story needed fleshing out, more obstacles to overcome. Protagonist male is rather two dimensional and doesn't do anything really to win his lady. Read more
Review:A very different and enjoyable book. I liked both the the H and the h. I've seen similar plot lines used before, but not as well as this author did. I liked the secondary characters very much, too, especially David. Read more
Review:Detailed characters, interesting plot. Dialogue was well written, and editing was pretty good. I also liked the epilogue, with a clear and satisfying ending. Loved the secondary characters as well.
The only drawbacks were minor. The love scenes were not well written. They were not as explicit as some and not as chaste as others. Review:I really enjoyed this story and will likely read it again. The main characters are likeable and develop as the story evolves. The overall plot is formulaic but not in a bad way. It allows for enjoyment of the story without wondering about the outcome. Read more
Review:Multi faceted story with romance, mystery, murder, and so much more. This book kept me up past my bedtime because I just couldn't put it down.
We all miss all the old series but this one shows such promise. I have never been disappointed by a book I got from Robin Deeter. Can't wait for book two. Read more
Review:The book was good, written well and easy to read. The characters were warm with real feeling conversations and actions. There was enough action to keep me in suspense and excited to get to the next page. Will get the next book for sure. Read more
