Cooking Methods
Review:i was not expecting a college book reference along with such small print. it does not even look like the author wrote the book for the target market that would actually use the book or should i say a novel. it would have been nice to not have added to the already situation of having the disease, and if the author gave any thought to the user of his verbal diarrhea book he would have known how to lessen the burden of us, but instead he wanted to let us know just how educated he was. i was more in... Review:I have reviewed this book. I love my Pressure Cooker and yes, it saves a lot of time. Ordered two more Pressure Cookers and books as gifts. I love cooking. The technique for making these meals are somewhat different. So far, I have succeeded in overcooking my meat. I will get the hang of it eventually. The Pressure Cooker is an assistant along with your other cooking. I don't think the recipes are all designed for "one pot" cooking however, but this is a great book and will guide you along to so... Review:I love this book!!! The photography is lovely, the recipes are completely different from her last book It's All Good, and the few things I've tried so far have been very very good. However, I took off one star because a lot of these recipes require forethought or at least 30 minutes to put together, which I don't mind but is simply longer than I expected, given the title. Furthermore- and this is my personal issue- I really thought it would contain less dairy products, like her previous book. Read more
Review:Very good product. Bought this for my daughter at Christmas. She was 10 years old at the time and now is 11. Months later, she still enjoys doing her nails, using the designs in this book. Not sure about the quality of the polish, but that's not the point. Buy this for the instructions and ideas. Read more
Review:Especially for a person who hasn't read anything on a dogs need in nutrition in it's diet. This book covers it and includes recipes and snacks that can be made at home. My dog has sensitivities and I am really wanting to make homemade snacks. Also link to authors webpage. Read more
Review:As a new vegetarian and aspiring vegan, I read lots of cookbook reviews before deciding to purchase this one. I'm so glad I did! The pictures are beautiful, it's fun to read (Isa has a very accessible and likable personality), full of helpful advice and clear instructions, and perhaps most importantly the recipes are great! I've made 4 of them in the first week and a half of owning this book, and loved them all. There are many more that I'm dying to try! I have two kids--ages 5 and 7--and they... Read more
Review:So delicious
I have made several recipes out of this book and served them to carnivores who claim to like them even better than the meat-containing varieties. The stroganoff and pozole recipes are my favorites. The slow cooker makes them easy and time efficient. Yum. Read more
Review:As an experienced cook, I am disappointed. The recipes are not complete and instructions are missing (pan size, pan type, do you peel or core the vegetables?). Need to guess or use your own experience to complete many of these recipes. Read more
