Education & Teaching
Review:Shout out to all Educators - Read this Book! The writing is amazing; feels like you are having a conversation rather than being preached to. Deeply resonated with me about teaching and learning practices. If we still teach the way we were taught - than it's time for change. You will be inspired and encouraged to take the LEAP and start initiating change within your classroom. Read more
Review:Ms. Sandberg is an accomplished person, do doubt. I read 40-50 books per year, and was attracted to this work because I have four daughters, three of which are out of school and working in professions. I very much want them to be successful. The first five CDs are verbatim to "Lean-in" which is largely a B-M-C manifesto on how the world is wrong for women . . . in other words, no "solutions orientation." I expected WAY more from someone with Sandberg's capabilities. Likewise, she cites Glor... Read more
Review:I accidentally purchased this. I really didn't want to read ABOUT the book, "The Girl on the Train", I wanted to read the book itself. I was lured in by the low price, not paying attention to the details. Very disappointing. Read more

Review:“Lots of Knock-Knock Jokes for Kids” was sent to me by Zonderkidz – a division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest opinion and review of it.
“Lots of Knock-Knock Jokes for Kids” was written by Whee Winn. It is filled with hundreds of cute knock-knock jokes and even some bonus riddles. Kids love to tell jokes like these, and therefore, I would recommend this book for little ones…I’m thinking my grandson (7 years old) will love it. Read more
Review:this book is very educational and helpful in knowing what your second grader will be learning this year. I feel like I now can confidently help my child with any homework she will bring home and perhaps answer questions she may have about what she is learning. Read more

Review:Poor quality, printed newsprint paper.
A big portion of the book is a mini-autobiography in which she talks about how she acquired her children. It's the same story she tells over and over and over again, in her other book and on her blog and in every single interview I've read. It does use up a lot of pages though.
The actual book list (which really is just a book list w/o summaries) is quite mediocre. I bought it thinking there would at least be some gems, nope, just wasted $7. There... Read more
Review:The bearnstein bears offer more in manner /behaviour matters like this topic. Didn't like this book much, I can handle it on many issues are just giving unrealistic options, I felt it's target was making kids just repeat reading " I can handle it" more than how! Read more
Review:I Loved It!! Failed my first test without it, but passed my second time! The A&P wasn’t too detailed, so I used information from the book and A&P pocket prep. The math is on point!! Math and A&P were my highest scored sections this time around! Read more
