Special Diet
Review:The recipes were good and easy, probably no combinations I couldn't have come up with on my own, but it was nice to have quantities/ratios spelled out for me. It was also nice in my sleep-deprived state to not have to try and come up with different combinations. I would definitely recommend this book for yourself or as a unique shower gift. Read more
Review:The book itself was interesting and informative. But, we know that if we follow any diet to the letter, we will loose weight in the 4-6 lbs range for the two week period. What was my major disappointment was the fact that Whole Foods doesn't carry the cracker anymore nor can you find the Dannon Fit and Crave Yogurt anymore. I contacted both companies and Dannon completely discontinued the product. I guess we can add the Fibersure that she is the spokesperson for to another yogurt, but that d... Read more

There were a couple recipes that seem to miss whole steps - omitting key step... Read more

Review:Years ago I bought Wild Fermentation and I loved Sandor's accessible approach to fermentation. He really does take the fear out of fermentation. Even though I had been fermenting for well over two decades I was inspired to ferment a wider variety of foods. The Art of Fermentation has inspired me to continue experimenting in the kitchen. And as Sandor points out fermentation is closely tied to the grassroots food movement. I am certain that this book will inspire many others to not only ferment b... Read more
Review:I was surprised at how diverse this cookbook was, in that it had vegetable cooked in such a variety of ways and the best part is it went into detail on the vegetables and how best to prepare them.
Great ideas for meatless meals, suggestions on side dishes to accompany the meal.
