I thought there were too many characters that were presented in the story and had inadequate resolution of their part, like Emmaline and the Priest.

I say free time because one i started reading I couldn't put it down and read a book a day. Review:I am pleasantly surprised with this series. Book one left me wanting to continue the series. I do feel the pace was a tad dragging in book two, however. We have all read horrible submissions in this genre, but this series does not fall into that category. Mind you this is not a Deborah Baroness book, but it will do.
