Teen & Young Adult
Review:This is a little like the Twilight series in that it's set around teenage vampires but the vampire world works differently. I think the author has done a really good job in constructing the vampire world that we come to know, though the teenage characters can be a little annoying at times (probably because they are teenagers and somewhat immature). I read the book in one day, the story does grab you and keep you interested and the plot moves at a good pace. There were a few parts that seemed a l... Read more

Review:A great read. I love the dynamic between the characters. I would like a little more love playing out between the two to show their love story but really enjoy the plot etc. Looking forward to the next book! Read more
Review:The Haven is exciting. I enjoyed the keep me on my toes writing. I love to read books that keep my thinking about what will happen next when I have to put it down for the night. Eleira is a strong girl in my opinion. James, Raul, and Phillip are typical siblings with the added power of being vampires. Each has his own good and bad characteristics. I was pretty upset about James in the end and really surprised at Phillip near the end as well. It was sweet yet sad that Raul and Eleira were n... Read more
Review:Such a well written and interesting book. It is an amazing blend of fantasy and Greek mythology. Romance, mystery, romance, suspense, romance! I'm sad the book is over but happy there are more to read!!! But be warned, once you pick it up it's hard to put it down so you may find yourself up late muttering, "just one more chapter." Read more
Review:I haven't been this excited about a fantasy book since reading the 'Sookie Stackhouse' series.it definitely has some grammatical errors that need fixed but I didn't even notice them until I went back and read the book for a second time. I never re-read books unless I truly enjoy them.'Insidious' has a new take on the usual fantasy romance and once the story gets rolling I found it impossible to put down. Read more
Review:I really enjoyed this book. It had many different types of supernatural characters in it. Loved the bond between the main characters. Hope that they get back to it and it's not left there. I think he truly cares about her and cant show it. Cannot wait for the next book. Read more
Review:This was a fascinating book but it isn't an adult paranormal romance. It has a slow building relationship between a strong alpha male and a strong alpha female. I recommend this book to those who like a strong male and female lead...however, at times the male just takes control. When the male lead does take control it doesn't demoralize the female character it seems natural and more of a partnership than a gender war. Read more
Review:I read a couple of these books. They are pretty predictable. None of the words they give you to describe the mood fits. Whiney is better. The main character makes horrible decisions over and over and does way too much whining and creating teenage drama. I expected it for the first book. But I also expected the character to grow more mature and the books went on. Nope. Just more whining and angst. Read more
