Review:I found myself skipping over the dialogue because it was so ridiculous. Cringe worthy flirting....just...yuck. The dialogue ruined the book for me. There was no buildup that showed Clay and Cami as friends so I never got their relationship. He seemed creepy right from the beginning. And Cami was incredibly naive. I felt like smacking her upside the head a few times. Read more
Review:Teardrop starts with a car accident.
In this accident, Eureka loses her mother and her best friend. She’s supposed to die too, but doesn’t, because of a mysterious stranger. She’s blocked this all from her mind, and the only thing therapy has gotten her is really pissed off at her step-mum. We snoop into a useless therapy session with a useless therapist and then Eureka leaves and promptly gets into another car accident.
If I were Eureka, I’d lose my mind. Much like Eureka, car acc... Read more
Review:My second read in the Origins of Elements series and I was entranced with Georgie story.
The relationship between Georgie and her mother had been mentioned in Born of Water but reading it from the girl point of view gave it a new impact. After that it was nice to meet Faith and I started to wonder how the adopted cousin of Georgie would be like.
I was not anticipating that Jasher had more than one secrets. I liked that the town would turn out to be like a big puzzle where hints would be hi... Read more
Review:This book had an EXTREMELY interesting and new take on the angels vs. demons concept. It was captivating and well written, along with mysterious and detailed. If you like the 'underworld' or 'angel' theme then you will love this book! I would definitely recommend it! Read more
Review:My main issues with this series is that nothing really happens and the main character is very selfish. I didn't find her likable at all. I also felt that the interest from Peter was so vague that it definitely didn't feel like a true love triangle. I read the first three and will not finish the series. Read more
Review:I enjoyed Hollowland a lot and was excited for the sequel. After reading Part 2, however, I realized that some things are just better off left to the readers' imagination. Everything about Hollowmen seems to be either a retread of the first story or, worse, does a disservice to the characters from Hollowland. (no, I won't be a total spoiler, but there are a few disappointing developments) The first book was a heroine's noble quest to find her brother. The second book is the quest to...not di... Read more
Review:I really enjoyed this series. I think this author has a great writting future ahead of her. Typos made me cringe but I'm sure that will get better as gains more success and income (to pay for better editing). The books are priced well so it wasn't a big issue for me and didn't interfere with my understanding of the story. Read more
Review:Oh God this story. It's so beautifully written. It makes you fall in love with the characters. I literally sat down and read this all evening, all night and now it's morning as I write this. It forms a beautiful love story that just tears at your heart. I really. Really. Really hope there's another in this series. Read more
Review:Summary: This book is about a family of four people who go and investigate on a case about kids going to the hospital for unknown reasons at a school called Baker High. The first student to have a hallucinogen was the school's star quarterback named Jim Boltz. He was playing in a football game and he saw a ghost sitting on the goal posts with a bird sitting on his shoulder. He was very nervous, but had to call a play. He called a play and took the snap. This was a big play and Jim had to c... Read more
