Review:So i was referred by a friend who absolutely loved this book and I have got say I was more than a little unimpressed. First of the character development is horribly lacking and it seemed to me she described every one in this book by hair color and 'startling eyes'. besides that there was no in depth plot it just stumbled along, and then it was like it had been two months in Aspen Springs, and i was like were the hell did all the time go? The love was a bit tacky but it deserves 2 and half stars... Read more
Review:Where to start... I started reading this book originally not knowing it was 3rd in a series so I stopped and went back to the 1st book and read in order (though was not really necessary, the story captures important details from the 1st 2) This series has ups and downs and holy ish moments that leave you at the edge of your seat! It will NOT disappoint!! Read more
Review:A world in which werewolves have been forgotten; a foster child who seeks independence; a new breed of humans that are compatible with the werewolves: welcome to Hope(less). Gabby, an unusual teen with the ability to mentally sight every human nearby, discovers that werewolves do exist, and they are in danger of dying out. Thanks to her unusual magnetism that usually draws nothing by extraordinarily interested men, werewolves can physically sense whether or not they are compatible with Gabby dur... Read more
Review:http://functioninginsanity.blogspot.com/2015/05/bruja-alpha-girls-novel-with-new-pov-to.html
I received and ARC from the publisher, Ink Monster, and NetGalley for my thoughts. Mostly just advance copies because they’ve been pre-ordered on my Amazon account since October 2014.
Jumping right in, Bruja is the fourth book in the Alpha Girl series, my review of the previous book Alpha Divided can be seen here. As such there are spoilers for the first three books ahead, it’s unavoidable,... Read more
Review:This Savage Song clearly has a theme: the monster who wants to be human and the human who wants to be a monster. Yes, they are going to meet on the side of human rather than monster. But the premise of the worldbuilding here is intriguing and the story moves briskly. It's a quick read with a solid ending that does not rest on a cliffhanger.
Story: Kate Harker's father is the warlord controlling half the city of Verity; a city under siege by monsters manifested from humanity's evil. If y... Read more

Review:The Haunting of Gillespie House, great book! If you love ghost stories with "creep factor" like I do.....This one's for you.
While I felt the main character was a very nosy one, I liked that she was a bad ass in her own rite. She wasn't the big boobed bimbo...always running the wrong direction. She ran straight TO the scary events and that's a girl after my own heart.
I love the historical ghost stories in old Gothic houses and this one didn't disappoint. I am reading "Ghost Camera" next.... Read more
Review:I thoroughly enjoyed Ignite. Ms. Davis did a wonderful job of combining the day to day journey of being a teenager with the supernatural. She made it very easy to slip into the skin of the heroine. I'm looking forward to the second book in the series. Read more
