Review:The relationship between Pyle and Fowler regarding Phuong seems improbable; however, for a student of Vietnamese culture, the story paints a subtle but insightful view into a time long past. I would have loved to have seen Vietnam before the heavy American involvement, and The Quiet American gives a glimpse of an era that is gone forever. Read more
Review:This book was amazing. The gripping start to an interesting story. This story of the four horsemen is completely different to the one's written. The characters make this story come to life. Verity makes the story seem real. This book is awesome and a definite read. Read more

Review:Again, I started this series with fear. A story about a young girl getting kidnapped is not my usual read. I have two daughters and stories like this give me nightmares. Stacy Claflin has written a tough story, but it is handled as gracefully as possible and without so much horror. Having your child kidnapped is every family’s night mare, but yet this story is written with hope and love.
I loved that in Held you were given more family background. I felt like I got to know both Macy’s and... Read more
Review:I'm just starting this book, and chose it because I knew it had recurring characters, something I always like. It's a little maddening, though. Melis Nemid, from what I can remember and have managed to find on the 'Net, was featured in a couple of other books.. Wind Dancer and at least one other.. (Nanci, I think Wind Dancer is the one you're thinking of, where she's rescued from a brothel by Kemal). I'm really hoping the back story becomes a little more clear, though from what I've read here, i... Read more
Review:This is a typical John Gilstrap book. Once you start reading you can't put it down(unless your house is on fire. If that happens, grab your Kindle and run.) His books are never boring, always contain enough humor to keep you sane and the plots are believable. The main characters become your best friends and you always wait (not patiently!) for the next Gilstrap book. Keep them coming Amazon. Read more
Review:Once again Steve Berry keeps the action rolling from page one until the end. I love history, but have not really heard about the Knights of the Golden Circle. I can honestly say I learned a lot about them from this book. I really enjoyed all the scenes that took place at the Smithsonian Institute. What an interesting history. I also loved the fact that the actual Castle Curator, Rick Stamm, is a part of the book. Keep up the good work Mr Berry! Can't wait for the next one! Read more
