Review:I am learning so much about different oils from this book and why coconut oil is by far better for health. Bruce really makes the science and chemistry behind the oils easy for layman -- really appreciate that. Read more
Review:Awesome book. Lots of information on using vinegar. Guess what! You don't use white vinegar in food! It's for cleaning, etc.
There is a wide variety of information in how to use, when to use, what the mixture is, etc. Everyone needs to read this book. Read more
Review:Actually I expected more from the book as detailed description how to achieve something in a year like writing a book or going successfully to school. But book was quite inspirational and easy to read in a matter how to succeed at anything. It was general. May be i chose a wrong title for me. But the book is o.k. Read more
Review:This is an outstanding book for validating introverts. I've searched for years looking for answers concerning issues I've had. This book wraps things up in a very nice package for explaining how and why. I am disappointed at the title as many others seem to be in these reviews. In other words - Where's the advantage? I understand why I do things now and I can work better with my extrovert co-workers, and understand they're side. Before it seemed more of a shot from the hip and no thought ot... Read more
Review:Everyone should read this or at least anyone who has trouble with any relationship which is most everyone! I had no understanding of this concept before I read this. It explained boundaries very well. Read more
Review:I especially liked the chapter on "Farming your Body." I have always had digestive issues and understandably so, no doctor has ever told me to listen to my body. They have always told me to eat based off the food pyramid, which is not the most effective resort for someone like me. Not listening to my body is probably my biggest downfall. I don't trust the medical system in our country and I believe our doctors have failed us all, including my mother who died of cancer when I was 17. I trust book... Read more
Review:I personally like Pink's style of starting with showing the readers what the research says (various experiments), conclude, draw what the implications are for us. I think Pink's books are always well researched and easy to read. However I must say towards the end of "To Sell is Human" I found his style getting a bit monotonous - same pattern of presentation. I would have liked to read more about what Pink himself thinks about the Attunement, Buoyancy, Clarity pattern and how he applies it to his... Read more
Review:I learned about this book after watching Meg Jay's 10 minute TED talk, i wasn't convinced then but i was curious and wanted to hear her out on the topic. Reading this book at twenty six was a huge wake up call. Even with the reference to some pretty technical psychology and medical references-- which I thought would bore me at first-- I was hooked. Meg Jay thoroughly elaborates on her thesis in each chapter regarding career, love, and even aging using relatable examples, bringing up real fears a... Read more
Review:This book hits home on so many levels. Some things I have already known for years but its giving me a positive attack to see things through! I will probably continue to buy this book over & over again to give as gifts to everyone I know! LOVE IT!! Read more
Review:Honestly this shows you that if you truly believe in yourself others will believe in you too. It isn't dated at all. It is for the confident man, or to be confident man. Have a problem with that? Look in the mirror and fix that problem. Re-reading it because it was so good. Lots of little nuggets that ring true the second time around. Read more
