Business & Money
Review:Well written but the solutions offered rely on government which has a poor track record of providing real solutions . I would have hoped for more specific suggestions for a 72 year old couple with a small business to reduce risks in stock and bond markets using index funds and asset allocation. Worth a read to make one aware of the realities which lie ahead. Read more
Review:Very informative and a book any and every investor should read (especially the younger investor). Simplifies the seemingly complex endeavor of picking stocks and makes investing accessible to even the most casual investor. I would recommend to every one I know. I will not summarize any of his points here... Go buy the book! Read more
Review:Terrible. This guy thinks that every square millimeter on a page should be filled with print. The result is that it takes way too long to read a page. Not exactly the formula to pique a stranger's interest. Read more
Review:There is some good advice in this book, like grocery shop with a list or to take an inventory of what you already have on hand before you shop for example, but neither of these tips are something anyone doesn't already know they should be doing (not necessarily doing, but should be doing). Review:The game recaps and inside insight is truly amazing. The details about how this team was built are mind blowing. The pure dedication to success shown by this entire organization is present throughout and should serve as a guide to other teams and other sports. AAA+++ Read more
Review:My husband and I have been following Dave Ramsey for a few years and are actively on his baby steps to one day be debt free. I love Dave. However, it is his daughter, Rachel Cruze, who truly knows how to speak to my heart and mind with this debt free stuff. Not only about getting out of debt and staying out of debt, but about living life differently. It's so easy to get caught up in the trap of comparisons, wanting the picture perfect social media life that someone else has, and wishing the ... Read more
Review:Excellent book for anyone that is trying to revamp their finances!! Purchased this for a friend that just graduated with her MBA. The book was listed as new condition, but the outside cover did not look brand new. Was a bit disappointed with that, since I was giving this to someone as a gift. Read more
Review:Having attended cloud & Townsend's Ultimate Leadership intensive I can say this book unpacks one of the most lasting principles I heard, "Nothing is learned outside the context of relationship." Great read; difficult application! Read more
Review:Great book. All audio books available for this are incorrect. They quote some other book. Its best to stick with the paperback. Get a spare notebook and at least an hour or two when reading each chapter. Read more
Review:Dr. Diamond provides a systematic framework for negotiation that focuses on building and preserving relationships rather than blustery, heavy handed tactics. This leads to more productive discussions and deals, and more successful and pleasant negotiations. I highly recommend this book! Read more
