Review:Excellent fun book for people of all ages. I give it to boys who don think they like to read. It hooks them every time. What is not to like about a very clever little boy and a beautiful horse. I don't understand why it wasn't made into a movie by someone like Disney a long time ago. It would be a great one. Read more
Review:Another of my favorite books from childhood! Beautifully written, the tale of forbidden friendship between a young Jewish girl and a German POW still stands as a powerful voice for compassion today. Perfect to provoke discussion about the times and practices of World War II occurring in rural America. It amazes me that after all the years that have passed since I first read this book it still occupies a special place in my heart and mind, which is the very meaning of a beloved book. Read more
Review:Lucinda Riley has masterfully crafted a story of several generations through emotionally hard times and times of love. She weaves a story so each character has a story of their own but keeps them interactive throughout the book. I liked Aurora supplying us with new directions to where the story may lead. Well written, emotionally moving five tissue read. Read more
Review:Ms. Brown, Please do not let those who obviously do not enjoy reading good books change in any way your manner of writing. Believe me I have read thousands of books in my 75 years and just between us as we grow older it's great to lose ourself in books that can still make ones heart flutter. Oh my, you do that so well. I highly recommend to everyone all of your books. Thank you so much for giving this "old" lady many hours of happiness. Read more
Review:The was well crafted. From the first sentence I was drawn into the story. There were parts when I was not sure where things were going. I never was clear about the light and her fear of the light. I finally figured it had to do with when she was first injured. The ending was not my favorite. I perfer endings that resolve letting you know what happens.
The ending is haunting and tends to stay with you and to me that makes a good book. Overall I liked the book. Read more

Review:Mary Connealy’s newest book The Accidental Guardian will keep you guessing as the suspense rises and the action swirls faster than the coming winter blizzards onto Trace’s mountain ranch! I absolutely loved the way that Connealy introduces the characters in the first chapter. She starts the action with a bang and keeps it going throughout the whole book!
Trace and Deborah hit it off, too. For the most part, I enjoyed their growing relationship, though sometimes it felt a bit too fast and c... Read more
