Review:In the process covering too much ground, there is some not so useful information depending on the target audience. For example, people who make home videos are not he same as the people who make films Read more

Review:I saw the movie before purchasing the book. I was disappointed with the book. I was hoping to read about Bart's life in greater detail and the struggles he went through as a child. The book was more about his travels with the band. Not what I expected Read more
Review:LOVE Peter Falk, and this book is just fabulous. Short, entertaining, often laugh-out-loud funny vignettes of his life experiences as an actor, producer, artist, and more. Falk was such an enormous artistic, creative talent who quite simply knew how to tell a story. LOVED this book. Read more
Review:Told with class. After reading this book I am more in touch with the real truth and not some fabricated Hollywood tale of romance (between June and Johnny). This may be only my opinion but bottom line is Vivian was a first class lady that was above the nonsense and illicit behavior she was subjected to during her marriage. Some people party like rock stars ( or country stars) their entire life. I would think a life lived in a such a way would be nearly a complete blur and much regret would follo... Read more
Review:If you have not read Lovecraft before then it may be hard to get into the language. No one speaks in the manner of the narrators of his stories or books anymore and sometimes, that's a shame. Sometimes, though, the flowery language hinders the stories and makes what should be a scary descent into madness a tedious grind through language. However, there are a couple of minor problems, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. First, the photographs included are, in my opinion, poor choices. In particular, the photo of Patricia Neal shows barely half of a side view of her; she's almost not in the photo at all. Second, it would have been very helpful to have an appendix that told what happened to t... Read more
Review:I always enjoy Patrick Swayze movies. He played so many different roles so well. I also enjoy the Hollywood legend stories too. The book combines many stories as well as life struggles that the couple went through. Well written so even I could follow it. definitely worth a read. Read more
Review:Strangely, after reading her autobiography, I find Maureen a bit unlikable. Hard to get over her dysfunctional relationship with John Ford and her sense of morality stemming from her "strong" Catholic faith. I get this feeling there is a lot more going on in the background than she was ever going to disclose. Read more
Review:I liked this account, as JJ Abrams has taken some creative left turns with the characters. I wished the author could have written the book longer to delve deeper into Kirk's character. Or maybe that was the idea to show you Kirk wasn't the deepest emotionally...... Read more
