Black Girl Magic! This book is simply beautiful! The content and illustrations are simply beautiful! I loved it so much that I ordered three and plan to keep one for myself and I don't even have children yet!

Love it, love it, love it! Excellent illustrations and great descriptions of women leaders!!! Hardcover, very well done, this did not disappoint. Great book for black history month, graduations, birthdays, or for a gift for anyone who loves history.

Beautiful drawings. Beautiful women. It includes many classics that we all know and so many others that I enjoyed learning. I bought three and was on a mission to find who to gift them to. My 2 year old niece and 8 year old cousin loved it!

As a father of young black daughter, I was ecstatic to see this book by Ms. Harrison. So much so, I ordered it right away. When It arrived in the mail, my daughter loved. She page through the book looking for images of women that looked like her, her grandmother, and her aunt...and she found them. Thank you for keeping the stories of our sheroes relevant to our young girls today.

This book is so amazing, we have been reading two woman at bedtime and my girls love it. Beautifully illustrated and one pagers is good to keep the attention of little people. I have Learned a lot about woman I have never heard about.

A friend recommended I purchase this book for my daughter and she was right. This book is a great at providing interesting facts about amazing African American women but in bite size pieces that is easy for my 4yr old to understand. We can read a page or two a night and we both learn something new. I’ll be sorry when we finish as this book has made bedtime more interesting for everyone.

Beautiful book with great summaries of a myriad of amazing Black women. Bravo to the author! I read this book during bath time to my 2 year old and she loves the story and pictures! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

great book. I dont like the fact the author highlights so many of the women coming from poverty. Its called systemic racism, many had no other choice but still made significant contributions to society.

My daughter (younger than 4) absolutely LOVES this book! She’s enjoys the photos and learns so much history. She can now identify some of the historic women and is interested in new topics. The stories encourage her and serve as positive affirmations. I intend to gift this book to other little girls. Great purchase.

I love the concept of this book. The illustrations are vibrant and the profiles of the women are exquisite. I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 6-month-old daughter and 3-year-old niece. I know they will appreciate it for years to come. Every child (regardless of race or gender) should have this on their bookshelf.

My goddaughter loves this book! I love that she is learning about amazing black women and new big words all at the same time. The word density is something she can utilized for at least the next two years!

The vibrant pictures and simplified biographies are perfect for celebrating Black History Month. The book also includes more current heroes like Simone Biles. This is a perfect teaching tool for Kindergarten and 1st grade, as well as a perfect gift for young children. Thank you for creating this. I hope you continue to create more like this
