I ordered the kindle version— silly me. I was hoping to look through the pictures for inspiration... the kindle version had a table of contents and I had to click on every possibility to see a photo before deciding. Time consuming and Tiring! I ended up getting recipes from elsewhere. Disappointing experience with this book (kindle)— don’t recommend.

I really really really wanted to like this cook book, and I just don’t. I am a big Whole 30 fan, and being a new Momma I am all about easy and quick, but the recipes in here that I have tried just have really bad technique. For example, you should never sauté with sesame oil! It’s a finishing oil with a really low smoke point. And I love a good homemade vinaigrette but as other reviewers have said, it’s just not necessary to have so many salad recipes...it’s salad!

Some pretty basic recipes and they require you to have a LOT of fairly unrelated and perishable pantry supplies on hand to make most of them. If they had taken the time to winnow the recipes down to a set that used many of the same staples, spices and basics I'd use it a lot more. OK for people who don't cook a lot and need a cookbook for basic recipes, not a cooks cookbook.
