I am very disappointed in this book. It is misleading to show pictures of a recipe but yet there are no pictures of the recipes included in the book. Even the Beef stir fry recipe that was used in the description didn't have pictures of it in the book! This is a very basic beginner recipe book that spends time describing cooking tools. For example, a cooking sheet! I would consider this a beginner cookbook but with the lack of pictures I feel it would be frustrating to use. No new ideas for recipes. I would not recommend this cookbook for purchase.

I am really enjoying this book....BUT have two issues with it. While most other of the nutrients are counted “sugar grams” are not posted. I was stunned! I have been cooking up a storm following weeks 1 & 2 of the weight loss preps. The meals are delicious and you will learn how to meal prep for sure.... BUT there are no veggie sides/recipes to prep ... Overall, this is a good book but I suggest that if your following this for weight loss just remember that too much of anything -even clean food-can cause weight gain.

This meal prep book looked so promising! I wanted to love it, it's written by a mom and nutritionist. However, it really is not a "meal prep" book.

First of all the layout is confusing and difficult to use. There are two separate grocery lists for each meal plan - on different pages! For each heading, such as "clean eating" or "build muscle", there is a list of recipes, however the recipes don't seem to go together, and I'm unsure as to when or what meal I'm supposed to make each recipe with, or for. Most meal prep books give a menu, listing what items go together and for what meal - they also contain a basic calorie count about each recipe serving on the "menu" page.

On top of a random list of recipes, I have to search the book for each recipe, why not just group the recipes with their meal plan?

The other problem is that each recipe makes a different amount of servings from 1 to 16, if I wanted that - I'd use one of my many other good cookbooks. Good "meal prep" book recipes each make specific amount (usually 4 servings) so that you're not eating a one meal over, and over, and over again.

I honestly tried to make this work. After only studying this book and attempting to make a menu with it I wouldn't normally give a review, but with the difficulty in actually utilizing the information, this book will probably end up at my local thrift store.

At the expense of sounding illiterate or like a kid, I really expected more pictures. In my opinion, a good cook book should have pictures of every dish so you can see what you’re making and to make it appetizing. I felt let down with this book.
