I received this book free from the publisher for a review. I loved this one I was so glad to see Zachary get on his feet and find Jen they were perfect for each other. Zachary fit into Jens crazy family surprisingly well of course now I want a story for her family and for Teresa too. This one was so down to earth and the characters so very real. I held my breath at waiting for the diagnosis and it was so easy to put myself in Jen's position. The fear she felt was so real and the uncertainties Zachary went through in making his own way were so understandable. Of course I loved Kareoke night at the pub. Too much fun

Jen has "Grit", and her family is very loving, but they sure are a mixed bag of personalities. Especially her health-nut Mother, Natalie (whose boyfriend is a very special brand of nut case) and Cin, her sister, brothers are much calmer. Gran is her life saver in many ways. The handling of Jen's health issues was handled beautifully and with love.
Zack, well he is still trying to find himself and he does because of Jen. He came from wealth, but is not really wealthy himself, except no one believes him or in him, until Jen.
When these two meet, they are so different and yet, they are good for each; it just takes a bit (nice story) for them to realize - They Are Meant to Be!. I really enjoyed this story/book. A copy of this book was provided for me with no requirements and I am voluntarily giving this review.

Zach Coxwell has always been the black sheep of the family, but when his brother doesn't come to his rescue and he has to deal with the death of his father Zach reevaluates his life. Jen Maitland has had some of her own serious issues to deal with the last of couple of years and then in walks Zach into her restaurant and makes her reconsider her own choices. These characters were multilayered that made the story only more sweet and romantic. I love that they both were flawed and broken and yet showed strength and resilience. The story was perfectly paced that it kept you engaged and you couldn't put it down. It was such a heartfelt read and I highly recommend it. It was a perfect way to wrap the story of the Coxwell family.

All or Nothing is the story of the fourth Coxwell sibling, Zach, the self described black sheep. His every action was designed to get his father's attention, even if it was negative attention, which is the only thing he got. The elder Coxwell was a judge so Zach reasoned it was cool to pop in and out of jail knowing one of his older brothers would be sent to rescue him. Until the last time when his brother visited him in jail to tell him he's

on his own.
Jen Maitland has her own weird family issues. Thinking to help each other out with their respective families they agree to "fake date". This book talks about the "big C" openly and well as one of Jen's issues is she is two years post treatment for breast cancer.
These books and stories have some overlap so it is a good idea to read them in order. The Father is a strong influence throughout all the books however only the first book has the full picture of the rigid uncompromising man that was Judge Coxwell. Each sibling has their own unique perspective as to where they fit in the family and Zach is no exception. It's all interesting family drama and Zach is the youngest and last one to come into the family fold.

Zachary Coxwell is intelligent, charming, and funny. But due to unresolved family issues, he's avoided making commitments other than to his dog -- picture an apartment empty of furniture. Then he meets Jen Maitland to whom he's instantly attracted, and he dedicates himself to making her smile -- even if that means singing Elvis on karaoke night!

Jen Maitland has commitment problems of her own after a successful battle with cancer. Afraid to embrace life, she sets only short term goals, like waitressing and knitting small fruits and vegetables. She seems perfectly content until her mom threatens to play matchmaker unless Jen brings a date to Thanksgiving dinner. Enter Zachary Coxwell - gorgeous, materialistic and shallow. He's the perfect fake date to stop her zany, liberal family from meddling - they'll hate him on sight. Instead, they adore him. And when Jen sees that there's more to Zach than she first assumed, she finds herself trying to make him smile.

Zach and Jen learn they have more in common than outward appearances would suggest, and they're thrown off balance when unexpected feelings emerge. Soon, furniture appears in Zach's apartment, and Jen's knitting projects grow, symbolizing their newfound courage to move forward and their hope for the future. Still, they must learn to trust themselves, their families, and each other, if they're to get at the truth of who they are beneath their protective layers. Only when they take that leap of faith can they resurrect long-buried dreams, and love without holding back a part of themselves.

Zach and Jen's tender emotional journey is both romantic and fun. The story also celebrates family, as Jen's colorful relatives weave their way into your heart with some of the funniest and most poignant scenes in the book. Also, though All or Nothing stands alone, the endearing Coxwell family (Zach's mom and siblings), from Cross's other books in the series, makes an appearance. Be prepared to laugh and cry -- it's that kind of novel.

The author's lovely prose, rich characters, and witty dialogue help make All or Nothing a great read. I highly recommend this story.

Loved this book! The characters were so real. Zach was so sweet and the Thanksgiving dinner reminded me of my crazy family. Jen is precious. I finished this book several days ago and it is still on my mind. Even though I have read a couple of books since. This is a wonderful book and I've put a couple of Clair Cross's books on my wish list because of the quality of this book.
