Review:Dream Dark really helps you fully grasp what is going on with Link after John bites him. How everything is changing for him, and his mom is freaking out. Its a little short, but you really understand whats happening. If you don't like cliffhangers that are never completed howerer, the book may not be the buy you should do. Read more

The Darkest Fire (Lords of the Underworld)

Review:I got one book, for free from my libary (# 3) so at that time I did not even realize these were a series. But I really enjoyed that one so I went back to start at the beginning with this book. I don't think you have to read them in order, there is enough information that I did not feel lost reading them out of order. I really liked the story of this first book, the characters were very endearing in my opinion. I hope this helps someone else enjoy a good series. Read more

The book - Set in the world of the First Law Trilogy and Best Served Cold. Familiar faces return but have relatively small parts. The return cast includes: Calder, Scale, Black Dow, Shivers, Gorst, Bayaz, and a few others. Gorst it turns out, is one hell of a character. Trying to redeem himself after an incident in Styria involving the King, his blood-lust rivals that of some of my old favorite characters.
