Review:As a counselor, I use this book with younger children (ages 5-8 primarily). It has activities so the kids can move around as we read through the book. I certainly would not recommend this as a bedtime book, but it is a fun book to read together and talk about personal space and boundaries. It gives you a fun way to talk about these topics later on that doesn't sound like a lecture which I think parents always find very beneficial. Read more

Review:These books are never easy, as the situation that surrounds them is filled with hurt and longing. However, they also work wonders and make the complicated concept of loss and death so much easier for children to understand. Review:I definitely appreciate the fact that an author finally recognized the issue of having a borderline parent. However, you can tell the author is simply a good author...that's it.
