Review:As a new vegetarian and aspiring vegan, I read lots of cookbook reviews before deciding to purchase this one. I'm so glad I did! The pictures are beautiful, it's fun to read (Isa has a very accessible and likable personality), full of helpful advice and clear instructions, and perhaps most importantly the recipes are great! I've made 4 of them in the first week and a half of owning this book, and loved them all. There are many more that I'm dying to try! I have two kids--ages 5 and 7--and they... Read more
Review:I really enjoy cooking from this book, really simple ingredients that you can find in your vegan pantry. I just got this book, so far I made their butternut queso-ish dip which is really creamy and delightful! also, their roasted vegetables past which my non vegan boyfriend liked and their 'egg' rolls! this book is fantastic Read more
Review:I just made the yogurt recipe (Soymilk and cashew version) and I am in heaven. I have yet to find a store bought vegan yogurt I enjoy, and I have tried so many! I am so looking forward to trying many more recipes! Thank you Miyoko... I am one happy yogurt-loving girl! Read more
Review:So delicious
I have made several recipes out of this book and served them to carnivores who claim to like them even better than the meat-containing varieties. The stroganoff and pozole recipes are my favorites. The slow cooker makes them easy and time efficient. Yum. Read more
Review:I love this cookbook! I have followed Serena's blog for a very long time so was very excited when she released a book. Her recipes are delicious and hearty but still healthier than most food. My husband loves all of her recipes and always asks, "can we (a.k.a. me) try a new recipe from that awesome blog/book?!". So many great options and she is also hilarious and a great writer. Fun, approachable and delicious! Highly recommend Read more

Review:As an experienced cook, I am disappointed. The recipes are not complete and instructions are missing (pan size, pan type, do you peel or core the vegetables?). Need to guess or use your own experience to complete many of these recipes. Read more
Review:If you are a sworn carnivore and cynical about vegetarians, then this book is not for you. If you are thinking of converting to an animal product free diet, this book may persuade you.
For the uninformed, vegans are a more specific, albeit radical, form of vegetarianism. They neither eat meat nor animal products such as eggs. What else is left, you ask? Read this book to find out.
Vegans are considered non-dairy vegetarians. There are manifold reasons for following a vegan diet inc... Read more
Review:I will preface this review by admitting that I used to be an LB and Hills devotee and I enjoyed the angle that Kristin brought to the shows. She was edgy and bitchy and let's face it, the guys loved her. Amazingly, this book has given me a completely different view of Kristin. She surprised me in a way, and the information she shares in this book could bring positive effects to the lives of the many young girls who will undoubtedly be reading it.
She goes into detail about her days on ... Read more
