Review:This book is awesome. It’s well written and pulls you into the story. It takes place in a boarding school that’s tucked away on a mountain. The setting just makes the story even more intriguing. The first part of the book focuses on the mystery from 1936. The main character Stevie loves true crime and is determined to solve the mystery which is how she ended up at Ellingham Academy. About halfway through the book a student is killed. It looks like an accident but Stevie discovers some evidence t... Read more
Review:Fifty-one does not have the ambition of one-thousand-and-one but in a way it seems to be the same project except that the size of the stories may vary a lot from two pages to twenty. They all are united by some element of fear and horror, at times fright and terror, but the themes are changing a lot with some kind of a pattern. Let’s take some examples.
These stories are centered on characters who have something negative going on with their family circle when they have one, with themselve... Read more

Review:This book is thrilling and unpredictable(most of the time). The only bad thing was the quality of the writing itself. I honestly love the book. It is an amazing book. Although I would recommend it sometimes, it is not the best book. I will leave it off on the note that it is a pretty good book. Read more
Review:My favorite part is the end, it really surprised me. I like the story is very well narrated it really transported me to every chilling scene from the beginning to the end. The only part I didn't like was the cursing but this opinion is very personal. Read more
Review:When I purchased the Kindle edition of this book I never expected it to be the book it was.
Firstly the book is creepy and makes you want to run around your own house and turn all the lights on.
Secondly the book, despite its creepy factor, manages to be such a gripping story that you can't put it down (at least I couldn't).
I would definitely recommend this book to any paranormal story lovers. My only gripe however was i thought the book was too short and the ending a bit rushed and su... Read more
Review:Any person who says this is just like Stephen King's IT, hasn't read the book.
This was a fun read, graphic and tense when needed, if a bit too short. I'd love to read more stories in this universe, and to see what other creepy things lurks under the bed. Read more
Review:The book was shallow, and 800 year old sorcerer apparently is blind to a warrior culture assessing the empires military strength, the only time this was questionable was related to sexual interest, and no one seemed concerned at all with their fanatical devotion to their gods. Read more
Review:If you're considering buying this book, you should know it's not really a book, but a collection of loosely related adventures. That was less fun for me as a reader, because there was less opportunity for characters to evolve or for me to know them any better than I had after reading the first couple of stories.
The characters were amusing and whimsical, at first, but by 75% of the book, they were losing their charm. If reminded me of watching Weird Al Yankovich videos: At first, they're ... Read more
Review:Further adventurs of Fred Fletcher, the vampire accountant, when a clan of vampires wants to settle in his city.
Don't get me wrong, I liked the book a lot. However, I feel compelled to lower the stars to three simply due to the fact that the book is short.
Very short. Longer than a short story, true, but still very much short on stuff happening. There are two major events in the book, and a lot of background detail. Satisfying detail. Quality detail, which makes one happy with the boo... Read more
