Review:this is truly a treasury and a treasure - the big book version here gives a child the Big Picture - since little kids love little books their size, i would also get them one of the boxed sets of the little books for them to carry around and read on their own - also consider buying the audio cd so a child can read/listen to the stories over and over but an adult doesn't haven't to read them over and over to them --- and you must watch the dvd of Miss Potter, which was a very special movie in all... Review:A wonderful classic. I bought this book to read aloud to my 9 year old. We loved the book, but I missed the illustrations from my childhood copy. Quentin Blake is a quirky and wonderful illustrator, but the moody illustrations by Nancy Ekholm Burkert seem better suited to the strange story. None the less, this is a great classic and fun to read aloud! Read more
Review:Great starter book for kids. Includes lots of new animals that are not typical for them to learn in the beginning, which keeps it nicely intereting for them. Our boys loved this book & enjoy trying to figure out what animal gets in the mitten next :) Read more
Review:If you enjoyed the adult version, the you'll appreciate this kid version. Easy to comprehend for the younger ones and just insightful enough for them to ask rather provocative questions. Review:There were no problems with Amazon. The story tales did not seem to be written for children. Several had sad endings and the vocabulary used is above and beyond most children's comprehension. Again, Amazon did a great job, this was my misunderstanding about Oscar Wilde's writings. Read more

Review:Good read, enjoyed the story. A little predictable but a few nice surprises. I hated the protagonist naming of the Dragon, every time I read it I could not help thinking of "Top Gun" I'll definitely read the next book, look forward to seeing how this story unfolds.
Would have been 3.5 Stars if possible. Read more
