Review:Lot of really good, clear information on how to improve one's health by using a plant based eating program combined with cutting out salt, sugar, oil, dairy products, and all or almost all meat. This plan works absolute wonders in an amazingly short period of time and brings a feeling of well-being that is worth everything. This is one of many books written by Dr. Joel Fuhrman and heals a world of chronic diseases when with adherence and commitment. Sometimes not as well organized as I might lik... Read more
Review:My Teacher shares the enlightening wisdom with pure love and sincerity. This book is not about living to 120 years old but rather living a healthy and happy life with vision, hope and purpose to benefit yourself, your family, your community and humanity. Read more
Review:Another good book, book one was very informative with good explanations but book two had recipes and more than a few of them needed to be made with ingredients that they sell at least for some of those ingredients they offered alternatives but not all of them and unless you were going to be on the line to them for your daily food needs you were S.O.L. Review:Yet another Asatru book that only covers the VERY basics, and yet another book on Asatru that is trying to liberalize the religion. What this book represents is about one step away from "Norse Wicca".
As you may or may not know, the media, including book publishers tend to be very liberal. Asatru tends to be very conservative. If you want a liberal "new age" or neo-pagan religion there are plenty of them, Wicca being the main one as well as many new age books etc. The problem is few publi... Read more
Review:The book was nice and informative but also sad. Basically, men are pigs and commitment phoebic, there is nonsuch thing as soul mates and fairy tails, and that in order to be happy, you basically have to think like a man and be manipulative. Well, now I don't want a freaking man. Read more
Review:This book is not very complex or demanding of the reader and contains a plethora of common-sense theorems that any thinking man should not go without. Even if you're relationship is already good, this book is very helpful in giving ideas and tips on how to keep it going well and for the man to continue attracting his wife. I was very enthusiastic (and so was my wife) when I learned that the main premise of the book is for the man to improve himself as the primary factor in improving his sex li... Read more
Review:my initial reaction to this book was pretty negative-not because of the author's explanations as to why women test. (I thought those were pretty accurate) but because of the advice about how to respond to these tests. I guess I'm changing my review because I don't know how these tests should be handled and maybe he does. My ex used to always give in to me, would do anything to please me, and I thought I loved that about him but...he's an ex. Maybe these methods are better? Anyway the "why" behin... Read more
Review:This book gave me a lot of insight into what women really want. The only problem I had was it had so much information. When I needed to go back and touch up on something in the book, I couldn't remember whee it was. In this regard I found that the book How you too can get pussy: by giving her what she wants had the same info in a tighter package. Read more
Review:J.K. Rowling's commencement address to Harvard graduates is filled with humor, compassion and insight. In a world that defines success in oppressively narrow terms, her message about the importance of failure and imagination in our lives is incredibly poignant. Read more
