Review:I am a longtime fan of Foster's work but I was so disappointed with this book. I tried and tried but could not get into this story, which is a shame as I had pre-ordered it because I loved the other books in the series. This heroine, Margo, is boring and not particularly interesting or likable. Dash, the hero, is ok but it bothered me that he seemed overly obsessed with being who he thought Margo would want, rather than just being himself. I checked my Kindle and realized I was 51% through the ... Read more
Review:Leese didn't start out as the good guy in the beginning but he turned himself around. He proved to the the other MMA men and woman that he can be trusted and counted on. I'm glad he got his own story in this new bodyguard series. He was given the task of guarding Catalina. Leese doesn't believe in mixing his job with pleasure but there is a chemistry between them that is proving to be harder to ignore.. Cat doesn't want to trust Leese because her life is on the line. Everyone who was suppo... Read more
Review:A TRACE OF FEVER BY LORI FOSTER (MEN WHO WALK THE EDGE OF HONOR #2)
If you like watching the good guys beating up the bad asses and bedding the heroines this is a great tale of intrigue. You will be rooting for Trace as he protects Priscilla Patterson from a monster she believes to be her long lost daddy. You'll want to see Helene-a psychotic Bee-atch get what's coming to her as well.
There is intrigue, action and plenty of steam in this book. Trace and Priss are a great match and throw ... Read more
Review:Personally, I have been WAITING for Sahara's book. Other previous books in the Body Armor series just weren't my favorite. They weren't bad by any means. They just didn't live up to what I loved about these characters in the Ultimate series. Sahara Silver was a special character in this series for me and she didn't let me down!
Sahara Silver is the boss of Body Armor Bodyguard Agency. She inherited it when her brother went missing and is presumed dead. Sahara believes her brother is... Read more
Review:Definitely worth the risk of purchasing. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to the next one in the series. Great romance and good suspense. Not just one likeable character but several. Enjoy! Read more
Review:I've read all of Lori's books. And I would always buy them as soon as they go on sale. However, I'm getting BORED! She started writing series romances...then branched out. However, for once I would like Lori to write an original book that stands on it's own. All these books that she's putting out have characters from previous books and it's GETTING OLD!!! (HUNKY BROTHERS OR COUSINS) I cringe when reading a book that starts talking about the hero's cousin or brother...cause you then know t... Read more
Review:Lori Foster sure knows how to hook you in right from the beginning and not let go until the very end. What a great suspenseful romance. Not too scary suspenseful but still got a good mystery going on to see who the villain was. I had a hunch but I was kept being thrown off. So many possible suspects and it was great trying to guess "who dunnit." Now on to the romance part. *Great big sigh* Miles and Maxi were HOT! Their chemistry was off the charts and I really loved how their relationship devel... Read more
Review:I really liked Phoenix, Cooper, Sugar and the whole crew. Can't wait to hear more from Cooper's Charm. Phoenix has been hiding from life for a little while. Now it is time to get on with her life and that is why she came to Cooper's Charm. She hopes to restart her life. When she goes for her job interview, she expects to find a nice little old man and instead she gets a really big, good looking man. She has to get over her fear of big men sometime, right? Coop did a background check on Phoenix a... Read more
Review:Plot: Ridiculous
Sci Fi Aspect of Story: Eye-rollingly bad
Stilted Futuristic Dialog: Groan-worthy
Conveniently anachronistic items/events or silly holes in plot: Many
Fact that the sci fi aspect was not mentioned AT ALL on cover: Devious
If you knew what you were getting into going in, you'd never buy it, which is why the info was conveniently left off the jacket. But that just makes it a big fat RIP OFF that they don't let you know that this is horrifyingly bad sci fi going ... Read more
Review:Lori Foster’s contemporary “Worth the Wait” has humor, suspense, and those steamy, sexy scenes we’ve become accustomed to.
“Worth the Wait” can be considered a companion book to last summer’s “Don’t Tempt Me” since it gives us Jason Guthrie’s brother, Hogan’s road to romance. Even Hogan’s son, Colt, meets a girl. We also get to watch the sheriff Nathan fall in love. Most books have one romance, but this one essentially has three!
The central romance is, of course, is between Hogan and ... Read more
